  1. But, of course!!!

The oldest surviving written document is a Sumerian receipe for beer.  The workers who built the pyramids were paid, in part, with beer.

Beer is made with the purest and most natural of substances.

Beer thus forms the very bedrock of true civilization.

“There may not be beer in food, but there is food in beer.”—CEO of Boston Brewing (makers of Sam Adams Beer)

“Beer is proof that God loves us.”—Ben Franklin

“You can’t own beer, you can only rent it.”—Archie Bunker

  2. We won’t drink the water in Mexico but we will pay $5 a bottle for Corona.

Beer is the cure for bad water.

  4. My favorite:  Glass hadn’t been invented yet so they sat around waiting for it to happen and that’s how villages were formed.  hahaha.

    I love simple stuff…

  5. Hey, Cat,

We should have Weapons of Mass Delight:  Drop nitrous over Bagdhad and make everyone like each other.  “Hey, yeah, man...I’m an insurgent.  Sorry ‘bout that… but I like you now...hee hee… let’s work together to make the world happy… Where’s the beer?”
