  1. I’ve seen the damned things inmy backyard in NH, they usually get away before I can load up the 12 gauge. One of these days, I’ll get that wascally wiley… 2gunsfiring

  2. Ahh, comeon, WE invade their spaces and yet we have to shoot them??? Why not get so torqued around the axle about rats which actually do go after pets, people and carry vermin and disease in their wake????

This is just a little dog out to thin down the bird population - probably heard about the bird flu and was trying to help NYC out. Besides hasn’t anyone heard about the food chain and the animal eco system? I thought everyone in the Big Apple was supposed to be so darn ‘enlightened’ and educated.

Geeze go figure the city folks would be scared of a dog.

  3. “I guarantee that most people don’t know that coyotes are walking down the streets of Chicago, for example, until their dog or cat goes missing and they wonder what’s going on.”

Something similar to that sentence happened to someone I sued to go to church with.  They lived out in a rural area, and would let their cat out at night.  One night, the cat goes missing.  Considering where they live, they chalked it up to a coyote getting to it.

Conclusion: If you live in the country and have pets, keep them indoors at night.

  4. OCM, coyotes are the rats of the dog world.

On the other hand, why is a little coyote such a big problem that they waste resources in NYC to chase it FOR TWO DAYS?! I bet there were lots of others just chilling, watching this stupit yout’ get chased.
