  1. Some how Br’er Rabbit and Br’er Fox and a little tar baby come to mind...hee hee hee.
Yah play with a shit bucket, and no matter how careful you are, you’re gonna come out stinking.

  2. Ok - Obey (D-WI) claims in this video to have been part of the Church thingy that started the ball rolling (despite our intrepid lunatic activist who thought it was the thingy that ended Vietnam (oh why are we doing a Vietnam redo)and while I will give him kudos for not voting for the War in 2002 and trying to make these morons realize how stupid they are (the budget funds the US Armed forces, equipment, housing, VA etc and you can’t cut that during a War) and how to achieve their goal through his process - which neither idiot seemed to grasp real well. . .I do not know if the dems are going to survive the lunatic fringe turning on them so quickly. . .

Career politicians are America’s biggest domestic Threatand part of the problem not the solution. Not the Person elected for a maximum of 8 years. Term Limits people - we need to put an end to this garbage.

BTW, Momma Moonbat - her son can do all those wonderful military things but come home and fall apart and she has been at this for a year - how about going home and using that money to pay for a doctor to help your son?!?

  3. That guy has been in Congress since 1969.  If their ever was a reason for Term Limits, he’s it.

Wardmama4, your exactly right about her son.  Maybe the reason he fell apart is because his mother is an idiot.  He should have stayed in the Marines.

Yup Skipper, chickens have come home to roost for the Democrats in Congress...isn’t it great.  That congressman was speaking simple English and that stupid woman couldn’t understand him.

  4. Folks - I was just thinking that maybe she isn’t so moronic that she could not comprehend Obey, but rather Obey wasn’t saying what she wanted to hear. She felt if she tried the same ploy enough times he would finally say the words she wanted.  Well, being the typical leftist douche bag, she lives in her mind’s utopian vision of shoulda coulda woulda if only........ and if the government would just ....
Which is actually pretty stupid come to think of it.  She needs to get out of the house more often, pull her head out of her ass, try doing something for herself and son and look around at the real world.

  5. This (momma moonbat) is the new thing right now. Have a local - last year I was sent a flyer. Her son (OIF Vet) just got up one morning and disappeared. Local police wouldn’t do anything because he was 24 years old. . .fastforward a few months and he turns up in a K-Mart parking lot (in Washington State) at 0200 telling the cop that he was ‘looking for his men’. At police station, he is negative on a drug/alcohol test, becomes a bit more coherent and even talks on the phone w/his brother (mother is in hospital from ‘stress’). Downside of this little event was that police release him (he committed no crime, was coherent, refused a plane ticket home from his brother, was in possession of no weapon etc, etc) and he was now removed from the Endangered Missing Persons list. Well fastforward again and walalala he just comes home one day. [Actually within a few days of all this - so he was gone just over a month].

Now, instead of being down on her knees that her son is home, did not kill himself or anyone else, nor get killed, is sane and semi-functional - she is bitching because - get this - you are going to love it - VA HAS TO EVALUATE HIM BEFORE ADMISSION INTO A PTSD PROGRAM. And good ole momma moonbat is pissed off.

What is with their inability to function within a realm of reality?
Dick - maybe they are this way because the media, their ‘educators’ and politicians are in the habit of saying the same indoctrination, oops talking points over and over again.

  6. Of course the VA has to evaluate the guy before admitting him into a PSTD program.  He might not have PSTD, it could be something else.  No matter what the guy has, him mother is going to blame it on the military.  Did they say what his job in Iraq was?  Not every GI in Iraq sees combat.

  7. Based on this video clip, I’ve come up with a new chant for the anti-war moonbats:

    “Capitulate!
    And Copulate!
    Troops Home NOW!

    (Rinse and Repeat)

  8. Peiper, I’m for term limits and it doesn’t matter if the person is a staunch conservative and does a great job.  Congress was never meant to be a profession.  After a while, people in Congress forget what it’s like to live in the outside world.  They become removed from the daily cares of live their constituents deal with.  Take Robert Byrd and Teddy Kennedy who’ve been in the senate for over 30 years each.  These men not only are career politicians, they also prevent other good men and women from the opportunity to serve as Senators.  Both Houses of Congress need to be limited to three terms each.

  9. downer  I come here to apologise, in post #2, having just read the written transcript of the Obey ‘incident’ - Ms Richards did not say her son was injured (PTSD or whatever) just that she has been mailing his ‘poems’ to Mr Obey and had he read them (Yeah, right, got right on it) and that her son was set for a 3rd deployment to Iraq. I apologise, but I plead those leftists purposely record their ‘incidents’ badly so that misinterpretation is guaranteed.

Peiper - yes, you have a point on Term Limits - except that is the same one used against the Death Penalty - we just might kill an innocent man (gasp, the horrors of it, civilized people can’t do THAT). I still stand by Term Limits - as the real true politician can do something else within the system to keep it good, honest and working - just look at the lowlifes who keep on keeping on within the system (not just congresscritters). And secondly, I’d rather throw the one or two real politicians to get rid of the trash. And just as with the Death Penalty argument - it is based on the premise that the system and steps to get to execuation are ALL flawed. I believe that more about the government.
