  1. Thought you guys would be interested in seeing this, it comes from the New York Times Archives:

In this interview titled “An Angry War Veteran”, John Kerry admitted to the NYT reporter that he enlisted in the Swift Boats to avoid the war in Vietnam, since the boats were only used for patrol duty:

    *************************************************************************

..That first trip to Vietnam piqued his curiosity, - “I wanted to go back and see for myself what was going on, but I didn’t really want to get involved in the war.” So late in 1968 he volunteered for an assignment on “swift boats” - the short, fast aluminum craft that were then used for patrol duty off the coast of Vietnam.

Two weeks before he arrived in Vietnam as a swift boat commander, he said, “they changed the policy on the used of the boats - decided to send them up the river to prove to the Vietcong that they didn’t own the waters.”

The river missions involved shooting at sampans and at huts along the banks and suddenly, Mr. Kerry recalls, “we said, ‘hey, wait a minute - we don’t know who these people are’. So we started to beach our boats to go to ashore and find out what we had been shooting at.”

  2. I think Chris Matthews from PMSNBC Blueballs deserves an award based on his Michelle Malkin bashing…

  3. If there was an award for paranoid crazyness this one would win it.

Do you actually believe that everyone who supports Kerry is a “militia of drunken druggies and assorted psychopaths from Hollywood, Taxachusetts and other holdout enclaves of Leftist Moonbats “?  And comparing Kerry to a leader of a fundimentalist islamic militant, that’s just nutty.  Kerry isn’t out there leading an army against the US military, killing people and hiding out in a temple or church.  He’s just a politician.  Comparing him to Muqtada al-Sadr is just like when people compared Bush to Hitler, which I also thought was crazy.

You know, I just heard that Bush promised to give more money to education if he was elected.  Anyone interested in discussing why I think that’s so hypocritical?

  4. Or perhaps Al the Sod was trying to tell us a little bit more than what he said in public?

  5. Actually Stacey until you grow up or pull your head out of the sand there’s not much point indiscusing anything with you…

  7. Dottie,

I will be going tomorrow.  Today I had volunteer duty at a Friends of the Library Book Store and then I helped out a local lady campaigning for a county commissioner position.

I will let everyone know if I get anything.  WHen I do get them I will probably go hunting for Barking Moonbats and do a little 45 caliber euthanasia on their asses.

Oh, and they WILL stay loaded in the house!  No small kids so no worries.  For the most part I do not allow small children in my home anyway.  It’s not child-proofed and and one occassion someone stopped speaking to me when I had a party and said, “no kids.  The house is not child proofed.” They thought they could bring their little hellions over to knock shit over, run like crazed idiots, and fiddle with my electronic gear--wrong answer.  Silly them.

Hey!  Wait a minute.  That’s given me an idea.  Maybe after tomorrow my house just “might” be ready for little hellions again.

    BWAH HA HA HA!!

  8. Yimar, you are *still* evil...evil I tell you....and I like it!!!  But childproofing is a never ending story....had a Marine bud and one of our other friends decide to see if they could stop a round from exiting a 1911....were fooling around and he got gut shot.....some people never grow up...though he now has two belly buttons.  Made for an interesting Thanksgiving that year.

  9. I knew a guy in the FLANG, in one of the Special Forces detachments, who had a wicked scar in the web of his hand.

When I asked him about it he explained that he was trying a move to see if he move the slide on a 1911A out of battery with one hand. He was not successful that day.

  10. have you ever noticed how that asshole in charge of Syria, Bashir al-Assad, looks just like that asshole in charge of San Francisco, Gavin “gay marriage” Newsom, but with a mustache?

I think Allah should do a photoshop of that…
