2. According to this IDIOTS logic...since HE belongs to the HUMAN race that YES !! has other than heterosexuals living in it- then he should suffer, be maimed, be held accountable to. Afterall, according to his TWISTED logic- he, himself, is GUILTY BY ACCOCIATION with the HUMAN RACE.

   If he has a problem with other than heterosexual PEOPLE, there are educated ways of voicing that opinion. My guess is that he is not capable of anything other than hate mongering, afterall, to be a HATE MONGER requires few brain cells, less personal integrity, and less energy in general.

4. This isn’t religion.. this is a cult.. that stupid westboro “Baptist Church”.. Good thing there is the Patriot Guard Riders Motorcycle club(and I’m sure a few others) to keep these wackos in check at military funerals.. (They only do it at the request of the fmaily, which is the right way to do it)… to disrupt a Soldier’s funeral or any funeral for that matter is just pure tastelessness..

5. Speaking as a Lutheran, one thing I do not like about Baptist churches is, it seems every one I’ve attended for one reason or another preaches fire and brimstone if you don’t repent. They’re always lacking WHY we are damned as sinners (the LAW) and HOW we are saved (the GOSPEL).
   Fred Phelps, and those who follow him, are sad indeed, driven by nothing but HATE.

   I never got it, either.  Personally, I think the fire and brimstone rants (trust me, these are rants) is a little much, which is one reason I could never be a Baptist.  That, and their deal that only immersion works doesn’t do much for me.

7. Whoa, BobF! These clowns have ties to Algore and the DNC? I guess it shouldn’t surprise me so much.    So when Phelps is struck by lightning or killed in a car accident or beat to death by an enraged mourner or drops dead of a heart attack, we and all the world can conclude he was a pedophile or closet homosexual; to think otherwise would be defying God.

13. I have had an off and on email deal with Code Pink which protests at Walter Reed on Friday nights (they call it a vigil). First, no one at Walter Reed (staff or patients) can do a thing about what they are protesting. Second a single problem/complaint is not indicative of a system wide problem (i.e. guy charged for his armor, being denied this or that).

    I agree with all written here about Westboro bunch. It is a cult (most are Phelps family and their extended families), why has the Baptist Church not gone after them for demeaning and deminishing the name of the Baptist Church (certainly not all of the Baptists endorse these people and their methods)? And finally, why aren’t the ACLU and libs going after them for 1) their hate message mongering and their hiding a social hate mongering agenda behind ‘religion’ [and perhaps a tax exempt status]????

    I guess their connection to Gore and the DNC explains why no one is going after them at all. Then my final question is this, why would anyone want the DNC and Dems running any part of and certainly as President, America?
