  1. Hey man, that much purple in one place has got to be toxic.  Just ask ‘the rock star once known as prince’ what that much purple will do to you psyche.

  3. You know what, besides the utter stupidity of calling a restrictive regime a ‘democracy’ I do agree (in a way) that a military run country has it’s appeals right now. Anyway, my real interest with this is - Gaddafi, Castro, and a few others are heading into that umm, ‘elderly’ stage. Given that despite what they want to expouse to the world, their medical care through out their lives has stunk. Given that they are ‘entitled’ within their ‘kingdoms’ it should be better than most, however they counter balance it (I’m sure) with excesses that the ‘entitled’ of ‘kingdoms’ always indulge in and as I said, their earlier years probably were very bad medically/health wise. My point, is that Arafat & Sharon suddenly disappeared from the world stage they held so prominently - I wonder if some of these guys are also facing their own mortality . . . and what that holds for our children and theirs.

Isn’t purple the color of royalty?? So much for his democratic state. Which by the way, has no real elections, just ‘elects by acclamation’ it’s government every 4 years. Political parties were banned. Sounds real democratic to me.

  5. I think Ronald Reagan had the right idea with this bozo. Pity he didn’t take him out though! Somehow I can’t see the rest of the world following his lead though. Not unless the leaders of their respective countries are on the same meds OCM seems to be on today! You haven’t been at the catnip again have you OCM?

  6. All Gaddafi wants is for the US left wing (i.e. media, academia) to support and sympathize with him the same as they’ve done with Osama and Saddam. Looks like he’s getting his wish.

  11. Oh, go chew a milk-bone, Bulldog! I have to harass OCM occasionally or he gets lonely. All I did was switch a few “pictures” around in his comment. Be careful of I’ll edit your comments so that everyone will think you just love George Galloway.

    BWAH-HAH-HAH-HA-HA-HA-HA ....

(actually, if the the truth be known, I never edit comments unless they are outright hateful - then I just delete them with a warning to the offender .... I mess with OCM about as much as he messes with me - it all equals out)

    LOL

  12. Damn… I just ran “Democracy” through my Oxford American English Dictionary / Thesaurus that is included with Mac OS X and it spit out this lovely bit of crap:

    “Dictionary
democracy |diˈmäkrəsē| noun ( pl. -cies) a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives : capitalism and democracy are ascendant in the third world. • a state governed in such a way : a multiparty democracy. • control of an organization or group by the majority of its members : the intended extension of industrial democracy. • the practice or principles of social equality : demands for greater democracy. ORIGIN late 16th cent.: from French démocratie, via late Latin from Greek dēmokratia, from dēmos ‘the people’ + -kratia ‘power, rule.’

    Thesaurus
democracy noun a democracy in Iraq is quite unlikely for now or any time soon representative government, elective government; self-government, government by the people; republic, commonwealth. antonym dictatorship.

    Dictionary
republic |riˈpəblik| noun a state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch. • archaic figurative a community or group with a certain equality between its members. ORIGIN late 16th cent.: from French république, from Latin respublica, from res ‘concern’ + publicus ‘of the people, public.’”

    ------------------

Technically, America is a democratic Republic.  Note the small “d”.  Who do you think this moonbat is fooling?  Oh, yeah, must be those Berkley folks who prance around naked, smoking way too much pot, and who keep dreaming of utopian societies.
