  1. Peiper, McCain is doing his job as a US senator.  Obamaramadingdong rather debate, raise money, and campaign than doing his job as a US senator.  Go figure.

Over here, they are now touting how the 700+billion is an investment, since the govt will buy the debt at pennies on the dollar, then sell them later for a profit.  If this is such a deal, why aren’t the F^&^ing Ceo’s of the failed companies jumping in buying up this IMHO worthless paper?

  2. I think that McCain nailed Obama’s feet to the floor - damned if he does, damned if he doesn’t - but at least (in this crisis) McCain decided to do his job. I believe Obama does not want to return to DC because he can’t vote Present without diving double digits before the debate.

Even my slick, slimy, stooopid Dem Senator isn’t voting for this piece of garbage ‘bailout’ - so you know it’s got to be bad.

It is a shame that Bush is once again on the wrong side of an issue - but for someone who is for Shamnesty - and probably a damn lot of the ‘foreclosure’ paper is to illegals - via Bank of Amigos - I am sure he does not want investigations any more than the Dems do - the truth will hurt both the Dems who created this debacle and the illegals and their enablers who sent this over the cliff.

  3. McCain isn’t dodging the debate - that is just the liberal line to make Obama look as good as possible. Go back to the Saddleback forum - McCain came out on top. All he and Palin need to do is keep the answers short and to the point.

No one in the msm is questioning that McCain and Obama are Senators and have a ‘job’ - or giving McCain kudos for doing his job.
