1. Wait didn’t the big o say that the Africans should NOT aspire to air conditioning or big houses as the ‘earth would boil over’? Isn’t giving them electricity just the first step?

   Of course he also (so he claims - in Dreams From My Father, page 123) ‘I instructed my mother on the various ways that foreign donors and international development organizations like the one she was working for bred dependence in the Third World.

   So I guess whatever fits the day, is whatever the big o says -’cuz I don’t think he believes anything other than the total destruction of the USA is a must.
