Ban the Sun

   It is blindingly obvious the sun should be banned - just like DDT.

   Or at the very least - put a warning label on it.

2. It is all the fault of global warming. The only immediate short term solution is to create a mild nuclear winter by taking out Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia with thermo-nuclear devices.

4. blah, blah, blah - you know what happens to all those ‘educated’ people who cover up from head to foot in the sun? Don’t you? They get rickets and other health problems from a lack of Vitamin D.

   MODERATION - come on, you all can say it. Anything, heck everything can do damage in way not enough or way too much quanities. I also bet that those who die of skin cancer are either in countries with lousy health/education available or those idiots who spend a lifetime worshipping the sun with almost no clothes on. . .

6. 60 thousand out of 6+ billion. Less than 0.1 of 1%. We can replace the losses.

   But, it’s only cancer deaths. What about deaths due to sunstroke, heat prostration, dehydration, and burns? Strong sunlight can cause 2nd and even 3rd degree burns under the right conditions. In ancient Egypt the sun god Ra was known as a merciless killer of travellers in the high desert. And the WHO is only concerned about skin cancer. Damn fools.
