  1. Speak for yourself Vilmar

Tequila use is NOT harmless, unlike Scotch.

Amsterdamians are so close to Germany they need extra drugs just to cope. weed  wink

  2. I don’t use drugs or encourage any one else to. However, if you are going to take the position that an individual does not have a right to decide for himself about putting someting into his body because it might have deleterious effects then don’t whine when the nanny government says you can’t have fried foods, alcohol or violent movies/video games.

  3. OCM supports the Federal Monnitor’s Union

    TWO MONNITORS IN EVERY GARAGE

OCM has been on cloud number nine since the Medicare Prescription Drug Bill’s passage pay’s for all medication, after $3,600 annually, for people over 65 here in the USA.  Now OCM and AARP are trying to get their so-called “Donut Hole” (Deductible to normal people)weazeled down to nothing next, rat basturds.

Unions, all they ever think about is free drugs and Socialism.

OCM—If 2 people will pay your Social Security check; won’t those same 2 people pay for your Medicare cost?  Medicare is not insurance.  Medicare just pays all claims out of collected taxes.

OCM you homo.  These poor taxed to death young people can’t pay for all your drugs with a zero deductible for the rest of your life.  Wake up OCM, you’re just dreamin’ again.  joint  weed

  4. Let’s see the research that shows serious effects of smoking pot.  I mean research that is controlled, double blind, and peer reviewed.

Don’t give me and “common sense” bullshit. Remember that FOR DECADES menopausal women were given hormone replacement BY DOCTORS—until research showed more harm than good.

Posted by Oink    United States   03/05/2005  at  04:41 PM

  5. Geeezuz, do I have to go through this again?  First of all, take Z Woof, who seems to take any topic and go off on his own little tangent.  WTF do pot laws have to do with unions, medicare, and his little war with OCM?  Focus?  Short term memory loss?  I’ll bet he’s not even stoned, but he can’t make a sound, coherent argument to save his life.

Now, take, for example, the recent NBA bullshit with Artess(?) et al.  Were the spectators involved drunk or stoned?  Did somebody throw a beer cup on the guy, or a burning doobie?  Or, how about this.  You’re at a concert or ball game, and some people are getting rowdy and/or violent.  Are they most probably drunk or stoned?  When was the last time somebody died from THC poisoning by smoking too much in one sitting?  Or how ‘bout this:  Some rich twat can’t sleep or whatever, goes to her doctor, hikes up her skirt a bit, and gets a recurring script for valium.  I go see my dealer for some weed that I like to unwind with at the end of the day.  Why is she a “patient” and I’m labelled a “drug user?”

The point is that all drugs - and, yes, boys and girls, alcohol is a drug (poison, actually) - affect different people differently, and to make blanket generalizations as to these effects is just inaccurate and dishonest.  Not bragging, just fact as I have witnessed with my own eyes, but while stoned I can out-drive, out-ride, out-run, and out-smart most people who have never taken anything stronger than a fucking aspirin.  So I look at any research or studies (which have become a substitute for thought and reason) on the subject as complete bullshit.  Fact is that car accidents are the leading cause of premature death (life is the leading cause of all death) in the US, and most of those involve alcohol (and, more recently, cell phones, the scourge of modern humanity); the rest involve people who simply have little or no talent for driving.  Yet, we don’t ban cars or make people really prove that they know how to control a deadly weapon on wheels before we grant them licenses to drive.

That said, I don’t think pot should be legal to the point where it is sold openly like booze or cigs.  Just leave it alone and spend more time on heroin and meth and other drugs that people kill, mug, and steal for money to buy these drugs (I have yet to read of a case where a 7-11 was robbed so the robber could buy a bag of grass).  Pot is illegal because of a company named Dupont and its proprietary fabric, nylon.  Prior to the advent of nylon, the same things now made of nylon were made from hemp.  Can’t let natural fabric interfere with patents and corporate profits, now, can we?

Prosecute individual criminals for individual crimes, regardless of a perceived cause, be it pot, crack, alcohol, bad childhood, whatever.

My neighbor is beating his dog again.  I wonder if he’s stoned, drunk, or just a fucking neanderthal idiot who needs to have his ass kicked.  angry

  6. I agree.  With the addition that booze and alcohol have killed millions.  Maybe our only responsibility is to make the facts known and let adults decide what to do.  Assuming they don’t drink, or smoke dope, and drive.

  9. And remember there are benefits to heavy pot smoking.  Easter will be here soon.  You’ll be able to hide your own eggs…

  10. OCM finds new stoned friend in Carborunum, figures weed

I’ll recap for you Carborunum so you don’t have to read OCM’s pathetic posts.

In post 1 I suggest to Vilmar that you can get a buzz on Tiquilla, Scotch and pot weed and to lighten up on the Amsterdamians.  In post 4 Jack agrees.

But in post 5 OCM wants to ban alcohol, the control freak.  So in post 6 I “Question” OCM motives, he is a Democrat.  I point out that he desires FREE drugs paid for by taxing young people.

In post 7 OCM goes insane.  OCM said, “The Medicare RX plan sucks....OK.” Then the leach explains how “rich drug companies” give him his drugs for FREE already because he is sooo broke.  Then OCM says it costs him $79 a month for Medicare’s part B and they use the term covered services just like insurance will use that term.  Then OCM says that Medicare won’t pay for non-covered services, like that is suppose to mean something.  Then OCM breaks away from Democratic BS and says“Medicare should have a financial need clause injected into it via a sliding scale on income....”

Just because you are too lazy or too stoned to keep up with the rantings of a crazed Democrat like OCM does not give you the right to determine what is a so-called tangent, Carborundum, sorry.  If I actually paid attention to you and your Artess simalarities I might consider limiting my right to free speech to your specifications and limitations, but I don’t.  I think it could possibly be the murcury in the pot weed

With that said I do think the LARGE corporations are pulling a fast one one the American taxpayer with the help of the Democrats over medications in Medicare.  The Big 3 Automakers owe Billions and Billions in Retirement Medications to retired Autoworkers (Union employees).  These “Legacy Costs” can be shifted onto the backs of the American taxpayers if people pay only attention to Detroit Basketball, a sissy sport.

I suggest Carborundum, that your suggestion; that over 50% of all deaths before the age of 78 are because of auto accidents is Bull Shit (BS).

But I do agree with you when you label yourself a “drug user’ Carborundum.  He knows thyself.  That is the reason you can’t keep up with all the posts without someone slowing down and drawing you pictures. weed

Posted by Z Woof    United States   03/06/2005  at  08:45 AM

  11. Hey Z, you fuckwit.  You say I said this:  (quoting you) “...over 50% of all deaths before the age of 78 are because of auto accidents...”

In fact, I actually said this:  “...car accidents are the leading cause of premature death (life is the leading cause of all death) in the US, and most of those involve alcohol...”

“Leading cause” is not the same as “most” or “over 50%.” Second, I never mentioned an average life expectancy; I said “premature” which does not necessarily imply dying before the average life expectancy.  It simply means dying sooner than one planned.

Here are a bunch of statistics. Knock youself out.

    http://www.car-accidents.com/pages/stats/2000_alcohol-related.html

    http://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/dvs/nvsr52_09p9.pdf

You may find interesting the following chart at this site:

    http://www.benbest.com/lifeext/causes.html?source=DeathClock

TYPES OF ACCIDENTAL DEATHS INVOLVING MOTOR VEHICLES, USA 1992 MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT (MVA) PERCENT
    (1) Between vehicles 43%
    (2) With fixed object 27%
    (3) Pedestrian 16%
    (4) Noncollision 10%
    (5) Collision pedacycle 2%
    (6) Collision train 1%

50% of MVA deaths were at night
50% of MVA deaths involve intoxicants in driver
62% of MVA deaths were rural
65% OF MVA pedestrian deaths were urban
25% of urban MVA deaths were pedestrian

I was not talking of natural causes or disease, because heart disease blows them all away in sheer numbers.  I was not advocating banning alcohol.  I was simply saying that in the “pot vs. alcohol” debate, based on statistics, alcohol should be banned, considering everything else that we base upon statistics.  I’m saying let’s not be selective based on false notions or incomplete/skewed data.

As for being a “drug user,” see my comment # 9 on today’s entry entitled, “So How Harmless is Marijuana.”

That said, I was not completely correct, but you did not prove me incorrect.

P.S.  It’s “mErcury,” not mUrcury, you stupid-ass old fart.

    Cheers, mate finger

  12. Your own post says accidents are only 4% of deaths Carborundum, you stupid shit.

So you are right when you admit you are wrong.

Cheers, mate - what kind of fucked up sayings is that?  So you want alcohol banned huh?  Anyone that says “Cheers, mate” is not an American so get your own damn country dry and leave the USA out of it.  Cheers, mate - God that sucks.  I suppose you call yourself a “wag.” It’s the MERCURY Carborundum.

  14. oh oh Nanook that is so imbecilic...assuming where a person is from by a saying....I am the one from down under not INC...and not an Australian.

If you are so well informed you would know that CHEERS MATE did not originate from a drinking session, but, it originated as a friendly term of endearment, as a thank you...sorry no Ted Danson down here.  BTW he is all American, a former Marine,...also he is my better half. So please educate yourself further and read postings before unnecessary comments, there again if Nanook and Z Woof are one and the same ...is not Nanook an Eskimo name????? or do you have to rely on Frank Zappa for your lack of personality
    mad

  15. Z Woof/Nanook/COCKSUCKER, you obviously cannot read or don’t understand English. I said, “I was not advocating banning alcohol.” Is it that you maybe don’t understand the meaning of the word “advocate?”

That said, I am an American, former Marine, and I will always be both.  So FUCK OFF, you piss-ant, inbred, chicken-shit motherfucker.  At least I went back, did a little research, and corrected myself, something which you neither have the means nor ability to do.  Get back on the meds that make you an incoherent old fart.  Or is that just Alzheimer’s kicking in for you?

P.S. - You still can’t spell.  It’s Carborundum, not Carborunum.

    Oh, and Cheers, mate.  finger
