  1. Wait - Record LOW tides?  Either the Moon’s gravitational pull is increasing, or there is slightly less water.  Now let’s see, if there’s more ice, then the coasts will be seem to “rise” a little more.  Damn glowbull warming!

  2. Corsair - record low tides in the Antarctic at full moon in the middle of our winter. Think about it. Or just look it up. Perigee! Perihelion! When the moon is in the seventh house ...

    For those interested in blue moons, the most recent one before December 09 was May 07.
    We have about 15 of them every 20 years. There will be no blue moons in 2011, 2014, and 2017.
