1. Did you hear that Major Hasan wants to be tried under Sharia law? Hubby and I were talking, when we were in - he’d been convicted already. . .Now, not sure if they won’t let this corruption of the UCMJ go forward.

   All because Hasan mistakenly thought that pleading guilty would avoid the death penalty - in a civilian court - yeah it does, in a military court - nope, not at all. Which is why he grew the beard and went all islamic on everyone - to fight his own stupidity (and his civilian and apparently military lawyers ineptness - but that might be intentional to get an appeal set up) and try to keep him alive. Which is a joke - because wouldn’t killing him make him a martyr? Like all cold blooded killers - when it comes up and slaps them on the face - they start crying and begging like a baby.

   May Hasan rot in hell.
