Why is it that every global warming even ends up being on a cold day?

There it is again: the ”Climate Change” nonsense. They have realized that the name “Global Warming” no longer works for them - never did. So they are changing to a more generic name so whatever direction the climate changes (and we know climate always changes), they’ll say “See? I told you!”
I think we should form a counter group to scare these Chicken Littles even further. Call it the Solar Instability movement or something, and get the message out that the sun is unstable and we’re all gonna die (find some way to blame it on Bush and America of course). After all, the sun rises earlier and sets later, more and more every single day, 6 months out of the year. That means it’s unstable, and could explode at any second!!!!!11!!

Did you know, that with less than 5 percent of the world’s population, the United States gets almost 7 percent of the world’s sunlight? Imperialists!!
My daughter (President of her College Republican Group) applied for a grant from the Student Disbursement Arm of the Student Union - to attend a Global Warming Conference in DC - well she was denied the funds because she is a Republican?!? I guess it didn’t matter to them that the 0ther 12 people scheduled to go were Democrats. . .It ended up 4 kids went - one put his car into the mix, another one’s parents put the hotel on their credit card. . . She said that they were the most boring and vapid speakers, she has ever had to listen to. This is a kid who has been a Nader supporter for a long time. No more - she said he was terrible.
She saw and heard nothing to convince her that this is indeed a serious issue, the least bit scientific and was sorry she wasted her time and money. She did end up getting most of the money back - in that the Political Science and another Group gave them money for the trip.
I, however, do not see the time and money wasted at all. Each and every time she sees these people (it is why I took her to Crawford TX with me, over the Michael Moore Fakenheit crockumentary) - she sees how baseless, vapid, hypocritical and shallow these people and their ‘issues’ truly are - and becomes more and more conservative.
