Art vs Porn

 

1. You’ve done a very good job of highlighting “Tasteful” (art) vs. “Gaudy” (not art). 

   The artistic examples:  Painstaking work, and the time it must have taken to do that is clearly evident in the work.

   And the others?  Well, if you have a lot of money and a big electro-plating tub, have fun.

2. I guess the ‘porn’ in this case is another example of - Because I can.

   Wouldn’t buy a pink (or any other color) gun either.

3. Tasteless? Yes. Valuable? HELL yes. As for pink guns, my wife wanted one. So I got her one. Anything that she will use to preserve herself is good by me. Charter Arms makes a pretty damn good low cost weapon. I like the “Goldfinger” myself.
