Are You Listening Because They Are

 

1. It’s a nice bit of drama to keep the masses happy, but nothing has stopped or even paused as far as NSA snooping.  They haven’t stopped anything because they are, and have always been, above the law.  I can drive for 15 min. and find myself staring up at the giant NSA storage facility in Draper Utah.  Don’t kid yourselves that this monster has been stopped for even a second.  I call it Mordor of the Rockies.  That’s what it looks like.  That’s what it is. The only thing missing is the tower and the flaming eye.

So, the Senator from Kentucky staged a Fillybuster to try and stop it, and then the other Senator from Kentucky says he’s gonna renew the whole fucking mess because????????????, Oh Ya,national security. Fucking assholes.Why do they even bother to register as Republicans anymore when they all seem to operate as Democratic party shills when things really matter.

4. Nice headline.

   Remember Echelon and Carnivore?  Those two domestic spying programs date back at least to the Clinton Admin.  The spying will continue, they just won’t be able to admit doing it.

   There was an interesting feature to them.  Technically, the monitoring of U.S. communications was done by the Brits and the info handed to NSA.  We ran the whole operation, but the NSA used a couple of Limeys and some British owned equipment as a sort of legal filter. 

   Cute huh?

   I’d feel a lot better if that building in Utah and a few others were smoking craters.
