Apologizing For Christianity?

  1. Had you rather have baseball player Daryl Strawberry go in there and give the kids a speech about how great it was to do all those drugs and finally wind up kicked out of baseball and in jail?

The majority doesn’t rule in this country. The article stated “some” parents complained. My guess is probably less than 2% of parents complained, yet that 2% has to be pampered and kept from being offended.

SONOFABITCH, OCM! That pisses me off! When did we have to start kow-towing to every nit-picky little fringe group? When was it decided that “SCREW THE MAJORITY” and “WE MUST PROTECT THE FEELINGS OF 1% OF THE POPULATION”?

FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! I’M DAMNED TIRED OF THIS CRAP!

    banghead

  2. Among them he a spirit of phrenzy sent,
    Who hurt their minds,
And urged them on with mad desire
To call in haste for their destroyer.

  3. “I am become Death, destroyer of worlds!”

  4. Yea, Skipper, those are the lines Oppenheimer recalled when he touched off the A-bomb.

My quote referred to suicidal liberals and moral relativists—Islamofascists call them ‘Infidels’ and kill them.

Your quote was directed at them? Or terrorists? Maybe tolerant Christian idiots?

  5. I don’t apologize for being a Christian. This ad running on BMEWS for “The God That Wasn’t There”—part of some multicultural agenda? I’ve heard some rational agruments against my faith. But Christianity swept the Roman Empire in two centuries and Apostles were willingly crucified for a man who did not exist?

  6. Yes Oink, I was referring to the same bunch of idiots you were referring to. They will destroy everything that has been built up over painful centuries of acquired knowledge end way too much experience.

What ad are you referring to?

  7. It was right under our logo. Advertising a TV special—now there’s one for “God loves you”. Probably part of some package deal.  Never mind.

Yes, I agree & say again:  If a bunch of people, over centuries, do or don’t do something, think seriously before you do the opposite.  Remember: you’re the progeny of survivors.

  8. Oh, that’s just Google’s insane content delivery system. They push ads based on the content in posts. This one concerned religion and Christianity so I guess their “artifical intelligence” engine decided to push this crap. Either that or Google has a bunch of leftists slanting the advertising. In some respects, Google ads suck. They do pay the bills though. I wish there were a better way.

  9. You could stand on a street corner and hand out money and eventually someone would complain, there’s on pleasing everyone so why try? Next time they should hire Mike Spinks.

  10. Good call, Google. Dipshits .....

My son told me that Amazon dot com cleverly judged that anyone who bought a potty chair for their toddler is, no doubt, also interested in fecophilia (or, coprophilia—look it up barf ).

  11. Although I totally get why a forced apology is a bad thing for American culture as well as freedom of speech and religion, but I also know children and teens. The forced apology and the aura of censorship will only serve to inspire or further personal interest in Christianity and freedom. The children are paying attention. smile

In 2002 a nationwide survey by the UC Berkeley Survey Research Center showed today’s high school and college aged youths showed stronger support than their parents’ generation for school prayer, federal aid to faith-based charities, religious conservatives and government restriction of abortion.

  12. Uber: Someone needs to turn the vessel around.  When you’re young you believe in “straight line projections”—just lay a ruler on the slope of the chart and that’s the future. But I have seen seemingly unsurmountable entities collapse: Apartheid S. Africa, the USSR, suppression of (majority) black political power in the US South.  And I read in history of libertine and puritan eras in succession.  My big fear is that, as in post-WW1 Germany, excess will lead to Fascism. (Germany had MANY other, different problems). When the worm turns he packs an Uzi. (from movie “Wolf")

I disapprove of school prayer. Anyone can pray anytime and go worship where they wish.  I don’t want government involved in writing prayers.  They get the words but not the music.
