Most troubling is the easy availability of automatic mechanical pencils capable of extruding continous measures of lead. Such magazine-fed devices must be limited immediately.
A ban on high-capacity mechanical assault pencils is needed immediately.
You bet! And what about all those ink pens used for chemical warfare? The public should never have access to those WMD’s! Just think what a terrorist could do with a so-called “fountain” pen in a crowded mall. Oh, the horror!
Both of us may have too much time on our hands.
That boy ain’t right!
MajMike: agreed. Between this blog and my work I have no life. I haven’t figured out yet what’s wrong with the rest of you.
I think we’re at the point in our nations history where we need to ban these murderous “pencil” like devices.
I mean, do we really need to put a sharp piece of wood with a built in poison lead core in the hands of our children?
It’s time to seek alternatives to these murderous infernal machines.
I propose we switch to finger paints. They did it in pre-school so they’re familiar with the concept, plus the kids show up at school with ten of the the darn things anyway, so we might as well put them to better use than the typical nose-picking, ass scratching, stop that or you’ll go blind, uses they’re subjected to on a day-to-day basis anyway.
Or better yet, we could just hire personal assistants to do all of the kids writing and take those deadly devices out of their hands forever.
Who’s with me?
