2. The last time I looked, the Chicomms were leading efforts to globalize control.  Their control.  Of everything.

   Pull out of the UN and kick the entire rotten outfit into the Atlantic, lock, stock and lice.

   We can use the real estate for a booby hatch that actually does some good for a change.

3. The UN has been trying to do this ever since Al Gore invented the internet. Not that I’m being complacent, but I cannot ever see this happening. If they did, some private sector solution would replace it in the US.

   Even if Dick Cheney didn’t get to Ohio in time to sabotage the voting machines, and W lost, Johnny Hair would never piss off the lib’s at google and other SFO area tech companies.

   Now I do recall reading somewhere about a tax on all shipping that the UN was trying to impose. THAT worries me.

5. IIRCC it was Jacques <spit> Chirac who was pushing the tax on shipping and air transport through the UN.

   Gotta watch the Chinese and the <spit> French <spit>. Those bastards have been getting cosy for some time now. They both have oil contracts in Darfur. (Therefore they both block UN action there)

   Their navies operated together off of Taiwan when the Taiwanese were having their last election.

   Just sayin’.
