Another Old Friend Passes Away

 

1. ”...passed away peacefully early Sunday morning;...surrounded by his family.

   A peaceful end for a wonderful person that will always be remembered for the laughter he brought to us all.

3. I quit watching late night as well.  Just wasn’t the entertainment I was used to seeing. 

   I loved you, Johnny, and have missed you dearly for all these many years.  Godspeed my friend.  See you on the other side.

4. Probably like so many others, I too quit watching late night TV once he retired. My favourite episodes were with Jim Fowler and the wild animal episodes where something always “went wrong”......
   Johnny Carson ranked right up there with the likes of Bob Hope, Jackie Gleeson and that era that I grew up in. He truly was/is King Of Late Night.

   Rest easy old friend. Gone but not forgotten.
