okay ... the sky isn’t falling and this isn’t huge in the scheme of things, but personally I think it fits Moonbattery.
Ins. companies will give a break to those who use a gym. But to my thinking that sort of penalizes many who can’t do that and so then subsidize those who do.
But somehow using public money for this begs the “where does it end” question.
Ought skinny people get paid not to gain weight? It only seems fair.
If I (hypothetically) am wheelchair bound, should my money be taken from me, without my having any say in the matter, to pay someone else to do exercises I physically cannot, while I am monetarily punished for having, say, fused knees?
That’s what they seem to forget. The money they spend on this kind of thing, they TOOK, the people they took it from had no option to refuse.
My wife says I’ll get laid more if I lose weight. What more incentive do I need?
