Ann is always spot on - so what if in all the columns, books, and speaking events she has written, she made three or four ‘questionable’ remarks. We all go too far, say something we might have worded better and besides take a look at any prolific liberal columnist/author/speaker - their’s is full of meanspirited, hateful and downright nasty stuff. Of course that is provided you could actually find a prolific liberal - from my experience 1 or 2 is their top output as they keep being so nasty too many people complain. [lib columnists are kept on, otherwise the ‘news’ papers would have nothing to pretend to support their twisted take on the ‘news’]
It would be nice to see America’s Dems wake up and see the writing on the wall, smell the coffee and get a clue - but as for how they are going right now - ain’t happening. Which means that in 2008 - Reuters and al-Jazera are going to be amazed, nay shocked I tell you when the dems not only don’t win the WH but suffer a resounding defeat in Congress.
I can already hear the screams of voter fraud, voter intimidation and buying the vote. . .anything but admit that they are losers.
"Trust but verify”. I think Ann is being very hopeful. I’d like to be hopeful too, but let’s wait a little bit and see what happens. It could turn out that Little Nicky over there only campaigned as a conservative ... it wouldn’t be the first time a politician got elected under false pretenses.
The croissant was not a crusader dish; it was developed after the bakers of Vienna warned of an early morning attack by Muslims during the seige of Vienna (1683), maybe after The Battle of Tours (732).
And, Sarko did not just up and call the rioters “scum.” Seems an Algerian woman in a Muslim area in Paris called out to Sarko during a speech telling him he needs to get rid of the scum who burn cars and riot. He responded that he would get rid of the scum. It was a Muslim woman who first called them scum.
Sarko brings hope for France. Now if he can stand up to the unions, rioters, Arabists and other thugs and bums, he might be the Thatcher of France!
