And Beruit Blows Up Again. Twice.

 

1. McVeigh used 2 tons of ammonia nitrate. They are saying that this was 2,700 tons. What in the hell were they doing with that much in one place.

2. Thing went off like a little nuke. Immediate blast zone was 2 kilometers in radius. A 4km circle of destruction. That’s 2.5 miles in diameter. Blast changed the landscape, wiped out blocks of buildings. Shock wave went a heck of a lot further than that. Probably not an unbroken window in the city.

   Impossible to believe only 70 dead in Beruit. Try 7000, minimum. Probably totally vaporized.
