  1. I like cameras. I used one here at my shop to catch 2 thieves and the tape put them away for 3 years in county jail. But paying some JackWad city/county employee to sit on his ass and look at empty space all day is just bad policy and a waste of resources. But that’s why politicos like this crap because it grows the machine to the point where they control the votes on everything they want in the future.Teacher, employee, cop and fire unions will all vote Every time for anything that gets them more crap and power.Never ending cycle till you end up with California style debt. Then it all goes to hell, see Stockton etc.
    Wow, word vomit.
    puke  puke

  2. they haven’t done Smiddly-Widdly over there in the UK, home of Knife Violence! and Teenage Stomping Murders!

Drew, That isn’t entirely true. There have been a number of attacks where the bad guy and sometimes girls, have been ID and arrested for crimes from beatings to rape and muggings.
What DOES NOT WORK is often how the courts deal with what is before their eyes.
Good example, those so called inexperienced black muslim girls last year caught on camera, judge lets em all go free. Remember?  Then there was the darkie who snuck up behind people and whacked them, and another deranged (it was said) N****r who tried to drag a girl into an alleyway. She got away but they got his pix.  So in lots of cases the camera does work. The courts and justice do not.

  3. Of course not Peiper - it is all about step by step by step to take away freedom. King’s bs about public place - is just the first step toward - complete (please rent The Lives of Others - Das Leben Der Anderen (2006) about the East German Stazi) to see where this goes. Once you get people to accept public cameras it won’t be that long before they can walk in your home at any time for any reason (or use the tv ‘screens’) to monitor you.

Abortion becomes reproductive choice. A baby becomes a clump of cells. Criminal Illegal Invaders becomes undocumented aliens. Gun registration becomes ‘expanded’ background checks.

How did Cass Sustein put it - ‘Nudge’ people toward your goal.

And believe me - that video as not quite being good enough for the courts - or kept out of the trial - goes on here.

It seems that some ‘protected’ groups of people are just more equal than others.

It use to be about the money - Now it’s about the AGENDA.
