  1. Bet ole Al Gore isn’t a vegetarian!  LOL

Yes Mr 3 homes, fly around (touting enviro-wacko warnings) in a private jet, do as I say not as I do liberal is just as big a two faced liar as Michael Moore.

    What a surprise.

  2. Algore farts from both ends at the same time.  Perfect demonstration of the principle behind the recoiless rifle.

  3. Ok, hold the presses - just heard Rush do a great piece on this enviro-wacko piece of garbage (i.e. what it really is about which is dragging America down to the level of a tiny percentage of elites and majority of workers - almost no middle class; which is how much of the rest of the World exists, not about pollution, the environment or cows) - but did not catch the 18% with the tag - that is more than the cars, planes and other forms of transport combined. Which makes one wonder? Only 18% - the entire ‘causes’ must all be piddling little things. 18% is the most dangerous entity? And they want anyone to take them seriously.

Rush also pointed out that neither God nor Nature would purposely create an entity designed to destroy the planet. Once again, do they not see how stupid their ‘claims’ and ‘conclusions’ are?

And at the same time - ‘scientists’ and ‘researchers’ that stand by this garbage, promote it and actually create these insane (and unsound) scientific ‘studies’ are destroying the field of science, medicine, enviornmental study, zoology, biology, et al. I can not understand why everyone/anyone with a sane, rational, and functioning mind is not standing up and saying Enough.

  4. One flatulent cow supposedly generates enough methane to heat an average sized house all winter long.

So, let’s hook ‘em all up to gas-milkers and mix in some beans into their feed, for increased fuel production .

Neither God nor nature created liberals, but some cloven-hoofed entity did, and the result is going to destroy the world.

  5. Yeah, yeah, yeah Rat Patrol and about a nanaosecond after the tax hikes to ‘study’, ‘fund’, ‘construct’ and ‘observe’ all this cow methane into heat and distruction of the environment crappola, it will quietly (and under-reported in the msm) come out that oops we made a mistake, it was all the bloviating moron leftists who are the biggest threat to life, liberty, sanity, society, health, science, the enviornment, the Troops, free enterprise, animals, marriage, education, politics, freedom, pursuit of happiness and America. [I hope that I did not leave out anything]

  6. Rat Patrol. Does this go for Polesi, Hillary, Reno, Babs, McKinney, and their ilk?

  7. Cars emit both Carbon Dioxide and Carbon Monoxide. They emit significantly more CO2 than CO, at least emissions compliant ones do. They still generate enough CO to cause significant problems in enclosed garages or other poorly ventilated areas.

What struck me as obviously wrong about the article is the statement that ammonia produced by cattle was a principle cause of acid rain. Now that claim is ludicrous. Ammonia is a base compound, exactly the opposite of an acid. If anything ammonia should reduce the occurrance of acid rain.

In any case, I doubt very much that this report from the U.N. was about global warming, or even pollution. When you read the litany of charges against cattle, chickens and pigs, it’s more obvious that the agenda is anti-meat production.

  8. Them dirty bastards from the Tofu industry have got their fingerprints all over this report.

  9. The leftists’ bloviating “flatulence” is all hot air, and not a useful fuel such as Methane. And, yes, it is the bloviating leftists who are truly the Enemy Within.
They are more of an actual threat to our national security than is OBL, Ali Baba and his Forty Thieves, and the rest of the rag-tag towelhead brigades, etc…

Cow fartz, they are a beautiful thing.  On Animal Planet, there is a show (7 PM EST) called “The Most Extreme” and they have an oft-repeated segment about bovine flatulence, and they state that one cow “outputs” as much gas (from both ends) as do 2,500 (average) persons.

  10. I forgot to add, they also state in “The Most Extreme” that Termites are the major methane generators on the planet, exceeding the output of every other living being on the planet, combined.

Just how factual or scientific this may be, I have no idea, but trillions of tiny termite toots trend towards total termination…

  11. Tofu is dangerous to the environment.  Makes me fart.  Makes my dog fart, too!

  12. The attempt to regulate the carbon dioxide emission levels is a backhanded method of tightening fuel economy regulations without actually calling it what it is.  For each gallon of fuel burned, a certain amount of carbon must be converted into carbon dioxide (as Perri Nelson mentioned, the CO2 emitted is well in excess of the CO--by orders of magnitude) so the only way to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide coming out is to reduce the amount of fuel going in.

  13. Technically speaking, internal combusion engines produce mostly carbon monoxide (in addition to hydrocarbons and nitrous oxide). The CO and hydrocarbons are converted to carbon dioxide and water by the catalytic converter.
