An Idea Whose Time Has Come

 

1. You bet, just did it....

   Corrine Brown represents a stip of east Gainesville about a mile and half wide. Her district snakes through north east Florida like a salamander squashed on the road.

   This was done to help get minority ( in this case black) representation in these parts. Had they done this for a whites only district everybody would be screaming gerrymander.

   This is how Brown thanks the folks that came up with this piece of afermative actuion. maybe they should oversee her district.....

3. I signed it too, but why don’t they use Petition Online instead of creating their own site? No doubt there are plenty of (so-called) undecideds and moderates who might get behind such a thing, yet they would likely shout “BIAS!” if it’s on a site called Conservative Petitions.com. Seems to me they do themselves a disservice and are costing themselves alot of sigs. Just a thought.
