  1. And the national media is being very careful not to label this a “terrorist” attack, even though he very clearly says it is. In fact, the local media quotes from his arrest are very different from the NYTimes quotes, as he told police here that he intentionally did this to “avenge the deaths of Muslims around the world.” But it’s not a terrorist attack. No, not at all!

  2. Warm up “Ole Sparky” (SFX of 2500 volts, AC, buzzing) and set for “extra crispy”. :rulez:

  3. The Christian Inquisition demanded a confession of and adherence to the Faith, and those who refused were tortured and killed.  Since then, Western Civilization ended the Inquisition, had a Reformation and wrote the American Constitution prohibiting state religion.

The Muslim Inquisition is still going strong with no sign of Reformation and calls for submission or death for non-Muslims.  Until they have their Reformation and throw off the rule of mullahs and sharia, their religion will not fit within Western Civilization.

I hate to say it, because it runs counter to all I was raised to believe, but Western Civilization must not tolerate Muslim demands for absolute freedom of religion, because that would be submitting to Islam.  Muslims coming West must fit in, not expect the West to change for them.  Note there is not a rush of Europeans, Australians or North and South Americans to go live in the lands of Islam, but the other way around.

My house, my rules.  I hope we and the Euros will stand up straight rather than continue to bend back and back and back, accommodating and postponing confrontation until we fall over. I wish Bush et al would take a page from Australia’s PM Howard’s book and tell all the offended groups, Muslims and others, to get along, assimilate, or get the hell out.

Sensitivity training, diversity training, affirmative action, political correctness and all the other Left shibboleths have long passed their useful life, and serve now only to provide employment for victim pimps and unfortunately contribute to the Balkanizing of our country and fear of offending people who need offending.

I’d be very happy if Americans in general and our leaders in particular would emulate PM Howard by standing tall and telling the Moooooslims to shut up or go home, and call a spade a fucking shovel when they see one.

Oh yeah; and make English the official US language.  Drop the espagnol crap.

  4. My one, true piece of bigotry involves Moslem Arabs.  Any questions why?  This guy isn’t alone.  Also see the Gitmo excuses.  At least this guy was fairly honest.

RP - remember one thing - this guy thinks dieing for the Islamist cause at the hands of the infidel will assure him of heaven.  Unless someone shoves a pork chop up his butt first, he’ll go to the electric chair with a smile on his face.

  5. In that case, smear him liberally with pork lard then turn the voltage up s-l-o-w-l-y, while whacking him on the head with a shoe… Triple whammy ought to send him out to the seventh ring of hell.

I’ll “ditto” the part about “bigotry”. Don’t, won’t and can’t trust ‘em. Ever…

  6. America has not executed even ONE of these terrorist cockroaches. Does that tell you something? Feed this shitbird to pigs.

  7. I would be interested to know how many moooslims are in prison. Or more specifically what percentage of prisoners claim to be followers of the paedophile prophet. I agree with you Dick, it’s a pity more western leaders don’t have the balls that Howard has. He tells it like it is. If you don’t like it leave! Why are we so concerned about hurting the feelings of muslims?

I think as time goes on and it becomes evident even to moonbats that islam is incompatible with the West then I think we will see a change in thinking at least I hope so. I just hope there are enough of us left!

RP I agree with you as far as trusting arabs, but I think I have felt this way since 73 when they put the squeeze on us with the oil. Hopefully America is better prepared in case they try it again (witness the bluster from the tosspots in Iran) What they need is a bite of a huge shit sandwich. The US should blow up all the oil delivery points in Iran, See how long they last when they have no oil to sell!

  8. I remember seeing on TV an interview with the Shah of Iran back in 73, the discussion was the Arab oil embago. Reza Pahalavi’s comment was “we have more oil than we could ever use, how much do you want or need”. I suspect that oil shortage was about 50/50 between the arabs and the greedy oil companies that wanted more than 29 cents per gallon for gas.

  9. You don’t know the half of it. The Iranians are so rich in oil that the natural gas that comes from their oil wells isn’t even bothered with. They just burn it off. A million dollars an hour in natural gas going up in smoke. These jerks need nuclear power about as badly as OCM needs another car accident.

  10. I get the pork issue, dying at the hands of infidels and even the shoe thing - so what is the best way to make these guys suffer to realize that they are being punished by us? I vote for the death penalty, but if that gives them goose bumps on their way to paradise - I’m not for it.

Whatever am I talking about, we don’t even execute our own scumbags, what makes me think these jokers will be execute? Oh yeah, the military is handling it. Maybe there is a hope.

So what we cut off a hand, leg or other parts? Force them to listen to Madonna or Britney? Or watch Babe and Charlotte’s Web?

Seriously, what would be a suitable punishment. How do we get these guys to figure out we aren’t going to put up with their crap anymore. Is there even a way to do it?

Because until we start dealing out some penalty - I think we will see an increase - now that the world believes that the US is weak on the War on Terror and Al Bore is out there apologising for what we did. How can they think any differently -

  11. You have a tough name to pronounce, but the “Boys on the Old Cellblock” will shorten it to:

  12. Yo, Mo, laugha while you still can, monkey boy.  When they pass out 18 consecutive 10 year sentences for your crimes, you will spend a whole lot of your worthless future existence in prison.

Posted by Kirk    United States   03/09/2006  at  05:42 PM

  13. Wardmama, that’s a tough point.  Any truly appropriate punishment is strictly unconstitutional.  A basic, long, jail term is the best we can do.

The concept of religious freedom is bone deep in our society. Our country was founded long after the last real religious war had ended, but the founding fathers knew the evils of a state dictating religious matters very well.  We now have to deal with a religious war on a global scale.  I’m more worried about how we as a free and heterogeneous society will survive doing what we probably will do in the end, (kill them - straight religious genocide) than I am about the specifics of any one case.  Once one religion is outlawed, what happens next?

All this is why I strongly support Bush’s handling of the situation.  Whether or not all of the DHS, NSA and CIA activities have been strictly legal, Bush is targeting the “bad actors” as much as possible and eliminating them, rather like the wide area excision that surgeons use when treating cancer.  It’s obvious that a large number of innocent people will be hurt and killed as a result of this policy, but I see it as a much better than outright religious genocide.

If someone has a better idea, I’d sure like to hear it.

  14. OCM - keep your centuries straight

In eurocentric terms, by 1776 there were no religious wars going on.  Jefferson, Adams, Hamilton, etc. were well aware of the effect of religious intolerance backed by the force of government and knew of religious wars from history.  There have been a whole slew of wars and actions involving several varieties of Christians and Muslims spread across European history.  All of them marked by severe barbarity.  That is why I hope that someone wiser than I am can find a way to turn off the Islamist’s Jihad without the blood bath that I am expecting and perhaps more importantly, do it without twisting the fabric of U.S. law and custom into something as vile as the Third Reich.  As I said, once one religion is outlawed, what happens next?

If someone has a better idea about how to turn off the Islamists - let’s hear it.

  15. If someone wants the Islamic viewpoint on much of the current mess, follow this to an article from Aljazeera.

  16. DrJ: An insightful article. Were they fighting in N. Ireland about consubstantiation vs. transubstantiation? Or maybe money and power? Religion my ass. People in the West, not Muslims, have been saying for decades that we are shallow materialists. T.S. Eliot, the Pope, and George Romero—“Dawn of the Dead” in a Shopping Mall? Not an accident, eh?

I’ll risk freedom. But I do understand why someone would not want to become a Shopping Zombie.

  17. Iran is one of those situations where I wish I could take over for Bush for about 1 week.

I know he has the courage to do what is needed and certainly will do something if those punks actually try to cause any more serious problems.

The real problem is that he is surrounded by politicians and diplomats and the f**king Chicoms and the Russians will of course do everything possible to stop us from responding in any way that doesn’t diminish or power and threaten their economic interests.

I’d have a real simple answer for them - you can go back in and get the oil after we’re done there.

Then I’d get on the TV and give a little speach that would go something like this:

Listen up you little goat-fornicating Persian porkspawn. We “the hand of God” on this planet have had enough of your pissant bullshit and threats. In the next 24 hours you will surrender your entire military. You will open up every facility and turn over every type of WMD that you have and every piece of equipment used to make them.

Every towel-wearing satan-worshipping mullah that had anything to do with taking our people hostage in 1979 will turn himself over (for execution!) to us. Your President will slit his own throat on live TV.

You will pay 50 billion dollars in reparations to the people of Iraq for your efforts in killing tens of thousands by your support of terrorists. You will pay Israel 10 billion dollars for same.

If you fail to acceed to a single demand we are making in the time allotted, we will turn your miserable, stinking, pig-and-rat-infested little shithole into a radioactive wasteland.
Then I’d immediatly set off h-bombs over the nuclear sites at Bashir and Natanz by way of emphasis.

I wonder if they’d have brains enough to get the point. Either way the problem would be solved

  18. LBJ @ 8:

“… it’s a pity it’s a pity more western leaders don’t have the balls that Howard has. He tells it like it is. If you don’t like it leave! Why are we so concerned about hurting the feelings of muslims?”

I remember hearing that David Davis had a folder entitled “Fit In Or F**k Off”, but Fluffy-Bunny Cameron told him to chuck it. Shame. I also liked Sarko calling the Moslem rioters “racaille”.

DrJ @17: I can see the possibility on the far horizon, not just a war but a Holocaust. I was watching my DVD of Schindler’s List last week, and I was struck by the thought of the possibility of it all happening again - on Muslims this time. Big Pharoah has also had this thought:

When can Muslims get treated in the same way as the Jewish Holocaust?

I had the following conversation with a friend “F”.

F: They can’t deny the holocaust.

    Me thinking..ohhh, that argument again.

BP: Well..given the fact that only a few countries have these Holocaust rules, given the fact that Denmark has no such laws, given the fact that you can draw cartoons of Moses and mock the Jewish faith even in countries that have Holocaust laws, and given the fact that countries such as France adopt the same rules for the Armenian genocide, do you know when will Muslims get treated in the same way as the Jewish Holocaust?

    F: when?

BP: When there is a Muslim Holocaust in Europe.

    End of discussion.

I just hope and pray the Mullahs see the Pit of Hell they are opening up and rapidly get civilised.  mad
