  1. OT - sort of - For Jen - vitamin E - use a pin to prick the capsule and you or Jen smother the rash area (after it starts healing) it is not prone to allergic reaction and it does minimize scarring (tested - second degree burn of a palm - no medical care, no scarring - long story).

Here in the stupid city - we aren’t far behind the UK. Since the 1991 shooting, they prefer our cops to not shoot nor taz the criminals - which leaves little alternatives. Then we get a ‘hot’ period which is mysteriously ended upon the first shot dead criminal. Don’t your Bad Doggie people (here the SPCA) carry both catch poles and tranqs?

Such a shame that these totalitarian control freaks want to break down and destroy society by limiting the response to criminal/dangerous activity. Bet if that dog bit a child - the cry would be ‘why didn’t the cops shoot it’? Always wanting to have it both ways.

The Army guy - read up on the Ft Lewis/McCord(?) area - it is the same base that spawned ‘The Kill Team’ (see Afghanistan and rogue Army soldiers), a Colonel who was disciplined for his behavior and I am told - serious violence at the home base in Washington. That is not a crazy soldier gone wild - that is a very serious and dangerous Chain-of-Command breakdown/discipline problem.

Your guy in the UK sounds just like he wanted to kill someone - I hate that ‘I just wanted to find out how it feels to kill someone’ bs - the first and only answer should be - ‘Well, now you are going to find out how it feels to die.’

  2. ok - really need to proof read - after smother the area, it should be with the vitamin E oil. Sorry.

  3. After being a mailman for 22 years, my opinion is that all pit bulls should be shot on sight.

And even then, it usually wasn’t the dogs that were the problem. It was the owners, who didn’t like their dogs being Maced by me. I’ve actually had to Mace an owner or two. “My dogs don’t bite,” they’d always say. Right. Dogs have teeth? They’ll bite. We have leash laws in this city. I can’t count how many times I had people cited for failure to control their dogs. Twice I ended up in court pressing charges. Those pit bulls were vicious. So were the owners. Yes, both times I won and the dogs were put down. A shame, really, I wanted the owners put down. You know they just went and bought another pit bull. Well, I know that, I was their mailman.

Not just that, I used to carry an asp in my mailbag, which would come out if the dog just thought Mace was seasoning for a mailman dinner. That happened a few times too.

  4. Gotta agree with that, and take it a step further. People who turn dogs into weapons should be put down, just like the dogs.

And mailmen ought to wear greaves. Something at least as sturdy as what the soccer players wear around their shins. Kevlar pants maybe.

  5. Roger that Drew,

People who even own pitbulls should be required to undergo a full severing og the brain from the brain-stem.

In the States the Postal service authorized long ago the carrying and use of pepper spray by mail delivers.

    Unfortunately,

I suppose in Libtard Europe (UK especially) that’d get the Royal Mail service prosecuted.

  6. Any animal can be turned into a dangerous animal by bad owners. The real danger with pit bulls is that once they latch on - they don’t let go. My s-i-l will defend pits to the ends of the earth but hated our Akita - said that they were the most dangerous dogs. We knew that he had to be socialized with children - so when he was a rolly-polly 16 pounder - I dragged him on leash to so many soccer practices/games and scouting events - that I became known as Rigg’s mom. But it worked he only snapped 3 times in his life - and he was trapped into a corner all 3 times. Never even attempted at snapping at an adult - but his adult size, bulk and bark were enough for most adults.

Having been a Census worker - I agree with Chris - dogs can be dangerous. One house - she was nice enough to come out immediately and say - stay in the car. I wasn’t that concerned (Rottie) but the place with the 6 pits chained - wrote it off as a dangerous place (which the Census gets to do, unlike the postal people). But the funniest (so to speak) was the two houses separated by a thin strip of grass, they were the last two in the subdivision, it was late and I was tired and their drives were quite long - I debated simply walking across the grass, but at the last second decided not to. I am so glad I got in the car and drove into the second place - as I pulled up close to the house - the biggest damn dog I’d ever seen came out around from the back - no chain, no fence. I wrote that one off too.

  7. The really dangerous dogs lick you, make nice and “smile” as you enter a stranger’s house....

It’s your trying to leave that turns them into Zombie killers.
