*yawn*
I see an HDTV in your future. Foolish human.
What took you so long to get DSL?
It just became available here, for one.
For two, I thought it was overpriced vfor what I did.
Now, all of a sudden traffic to the blog has jumped and I have to handle up to 150 emails a day plus posting plus research.
Dial-up is no longer cutting it and I am spending too much time waiting for things to load.
Still don’t have it. Need to talk to the rep Monday to make sure the routers are nearby or else it is an exercise in futility (and waste of my money)
If all goes well I should be up and running next Friday.
AND, for you girls who want MORE, here’s a link to the Fabio
International Fan Club!
No wonder the gals laugh at us when we go ga-ga over some airhead chick with mammalia grandiosa.
Despite my Fabio comment above, AnnoyingLittleTwerp is right, YAWN. At some future date, I will share with you the characteristics of “A Real Man”—of which I am a modest example.
A counter-example and an example of a Real Woman. My younger son was dead tired driving 200 miles back from Chicago; his girlfriend promptly fell asleep & slept the entire way. BRACCCKKKK (sound of the you’re-outta-here buzzer. My elder son, in a similar situation, had a female who talked to him, and even sang to him to keep him awake. DING! The Price-Above-Rubies chime)
*yawns at the guys too*
Clicking along on Suscom cable modem here in Topsham, ME. My parents live in the boonies about 30 min southeast of Louisville KY. They just got wireless Net late last year and are never going back to dial-up.
OCM, you say our site took a long time. Have you ever tried downloading your site? An effort in futility with dial-up. Have you considered ditching the “total image” approach?
Vilmar is correct OCM. I have DSL and it still takes a long time to download the 30 high quality photos. And you gotta wait for them to load or the Comments don’t work. It is true that I have “Boondocks” DSL, powered by a treadmill run by a gerbil with emphysema.
