AN AFFRONT TO THE WORLD?  OH WELL IF IT’S IN THE TIMES ……

 

1. I still think the best method for returning these fellows to the world is to staple 40 pounds of raw, bloody pork to their hides and drop them in shark infested waters about 20 miles offshore.  If they make it to shore, then they are worth expending a quality American bullet on finishing the job.

2. Well said Guido. I no longer recognise my country of birth. I just hope when the inevitable happens and there is a revolt they don’t run out of piano wire and lamposts for the scum that sold us out.

3. I have only one question for the editor of the Times:

   Guantanamo is a US facility. Your opinion is that all this is a “grotesque betrayal of justice”. Fine and good, but you are not a US citizen, much less a US lawmaker. Of course, you may think “justice is justice, regardless of what country I’m from”. Again, well and good.
   If you are a Christian or a Jew, the opinion of many Iranian lawmakers is that it would be “justice” for you to be killed out of hand. Given that, do you still think those who are not citizens of ________ country should get to decide what constitutes “justice” for countries other than their own? Or is it only a case of “I should get to define ‘justice’ for everybody, Iranians and Americans alike, but no one else should have a say in what constitutes ‘justice’ for me.”
