What a whiney little weasel. Right near the start of the document are a couple of sentences that show his lack of reasoning:

I believe very much in free speech, but that was grandstanding to attack Bush, and nothing else, and in the process, Durbin insulted Holocaust, gulag and Pol Pot massacre survivors, and the US military.
The President asked and Congress approved a war. We are at war. Durbin, by his words, in the Senate, for the record, aided the enemy. That is sedition, perhaps treason.
Impeach him. Find him guilty. Throw him out of the Senate. Indict him, jail him, and do likewise to any others who do the same.
Another worthless filthy ratbastard left wing manque shows his true colors. I sure would like to see him squirm if he has to defend those words in front of some honest journalists or a prosecutor.
Anybody know the status of the Sedition Act of 1918? Wilson had Eugene Debs, a presidential candidate, imprisoned under that law.
By the way, the next time one of these clueless leftists starts babbling about the Geneva Conventions, you might explain that since they were not in uniform, if we followed the Geneva Convention, they should have been summarily executed as spies.
Also, if we treat them as POWs now, we can hold them until the cessation of hostilities with NO LEGAL OBLIGATIONS on our part at all.

I know that I haven’t been in Iraq and I have only been in for a year, but I don’t think that I have lead any Jews, Poles, Russians, gypsies, intellectuals, dissidents, handicapped persons, or homosexuals to any concentrations camps. Heck, one of our allies is ISRAEL, the JEWISH state. And to think, this guy is from my state.

Come on, OCM. Let’s not limit the list of those who have had atrocities perpetrated against them to the two groups you name.

Good points, as usual. I wonder if early man, pre-agriculture, indulged in cultural discrimination. And if so, over what? Flints, maybe? I doubt it. The introduction of agriculture had to be the precursor to cultural discrimination.

I’m guessing that it may have started over competition. Whether for food, water, mates or living space, I dunno. I’m thinking it had to be the basics of existence, though.
Of course, more advanced ciilizations invented more advanced reasons, I’m sure, but the basics remained.
