  1. Dammit, we shouldn’t even be involved with Libya. Our Congress doesn’t have the intestinal fortitude to take Обама on and call him on his War Powers BULL-SHIT!

  2. Macker ... you’d have torn your hair out if you heard his speech the other night on world saving.

None of us are fans of that guy Drew calls a sand rat, and I’m sorry we didn’t just make a direct hit on the bastard like we did obl. All this talk about saving civilians and bringing democracy to the arabs (by force if necessary I suppose) is a crock. I think the un and nato and especially the French and the Brits, (and our govt.too) thought that the bombing of Gadaffi ground targets would see his regime collapse in a week or two.
Now they’re gonna step up the attacks with choppers and some are talking direct hit on him.
There’s a snag tho.  The resolution that approved this aggression also does not approve targeting Gadaffi personally.

Meanwhile .... as of right now I haven’t a clue as to what the cost is among the allies.
But in terms of lives lost if that’s what they’re concerned with, and they claim they are, then heck. There might have been fewer lives lost if they’d have stayed out.
