  1. I always try to pick up a box when I go shopping - of course now I’m running out of places to stash them - but I despise those cfls - they don’t last in lights that are used a lot and don’t give off much real light in important places (we use computers a lot). Glad to know that I’m not the only one hoarding - I just hope that we can over turn the ban and C(r)ap & Trade(off) before they really take effect.

    I kept wondering what a “Blub Shop” is..... a tavern, perhaps? “Gimme a pint of Blub ‘n Bitters, there’s a good chap!”

  5. well here’s a late addition to the idea of planet saving. i’ll try and post the whole article time allowed.
    apparently there are plans to increase the council taxes on homes that don’t have double glazing on windows, thus contributing to energy loss and naturally, a bigger carbon footprint. no kidding bmews,
