  1. Even more fun, whenever Gore hits town, they’re starting to photograph all the gas guzzlers in the parking lot of the air conditioned auditorium.

  2. We were having such a nice few sunny warm days, too, then dipwit lumbered into town and it turned cold and rainy. Thanks, Al!

  3. What I love about this junk is that either belief - doesn’t support the goracle’s spoutings -

If you believe in God and read the Bible - yes there is going to be (and has been) terrible earthly devestations - but (and a big but here) the earth survives. . .

    and

If you believe in the ungodless and evolution junk science - well the earth is how many zillions of years old? and somehow evil man - who is how many millions of years old? suddenly will kill off old earth in 5, 10, 25 years with what - his CO2 output? If the universe banged itself into existance a zillion years ago and already survived an Ice Age - don’t think that even 100 years of mans evil emissions are going to kill it in 5, 10 or 25 years. You can get back to me in a couple of centuries mr goracle.

Either way to me it’s just plain stupid. Good stewardship and being environmentally aware are the right things to do.  But from an old windbag - who did nothing while he was in the second highest position in the US and who lives so non-environmentally aware himself to insinuate that Man is the problem and we have to make all the sacrifices - makes me mad that anyone gives him the time of day.

  4. We conservatives need to set a good example with environmental stewardship. I read the book, I know how it all ends. Someone needs to give Gore a copy.
I know that there will be global warming and that nothing our paltry minds imagine will change that.

  5. There is a simply enormous mountain of evidence supporting evolution—it underpins modern medicine, including all the DNA therapies.

Global warming has not YET demonstrated 1. its existence—close, but no cigar, yet.  2. that it is anthropogenic—caused by humans, not variability in The Sun, the Earth’s tilt, etc. etc.  3. That, if us humans are causing it, there is a goddam thing we can do to fix it short of mass suicide and return to the cave.  That is, assuming global warming is a bad thing.

  6. It has been lovely these past few days.  Once the humidity is out of the air…
