Drew ... we really need to take another look at ‘Catagories.’ Surely we need a catagory for “Stupid White Folks.” And “political correctness.”
okay ... time for my meds. this posting stuff takes longer then it looks. Especially when you hit a wrong key having forgotten to hit “SAVE” and then start all over. I have a tiny pill for blood pressure. Maybe I need the whole box after reading this nonsense.

Dear oh dear what a load of over sensitive pansies. I would think in all honesty a “right wing” mayor would probably be welcomed by most of these people. Under the previous communist encumbent London has gone to the dogs.
The people that came from the West Indies in the 50’s and 60’s came here to work and made a positive contribution. Unfortunately since then our uncontrolled borders have allowed hundreds of thousands of undesireables to get in. It’s these people we should be encouraging to leave. However why would they when welfare is so generous and easy to obtain.
Obviously the words “racist” and “racism” have taken on whole new meanings than they had when I grew up. How the frak does either enter into a discussion of the RoP? Since when does telling someone if they’re not happy with where they are to feel free to go somewhere else qualify as racism or being racist? In neither scenario is any particular race brought into discussion.
I’m firmly convinced that these two words are the PC bugaboos meant to stifle any dissention in the ranks. After all, it does tend to destroy one’s name if one is considered to be racist.
Anyone want to start the countdown until the heads of the PC start either imploding or exploding from the tension of treading softly softly so the non-natives aren’t made to feel victims of racism?

How about “Typical White People: Stupid and Evil”? I can make that one. Actually, I think you can too.
I guess Mr. McGrath should have said “As much as we love our Caribbean immigrants ...yadda yadda ... great contribution to society ... yadda yadda ... better at sports, dancing, and sex than the rest of us ... yadda yadda ... like all citizens they are free to move elsewhere if they wish.” Or words to that effect.
I don’t think any politician is allowed to be concise anymore. They have to dump a bucket full of happytalk into the mix before saying whatever they need to say in the softest way possible, or else they get the slam. Which is total bullshit.
Oh, and I’m pretty sure Caribbean hasn’t actually been a race since Columbus’s crew started screwing the Arawaks back in 1492. They’re about as polyglot as it gets I’d guess.
