  1. Good grief they’re only cats. It’s not like they are any big loss. I noticed in Wisconsin they planned to allow hunters to shoot feral cats. (till the tree huggers went into orbit) The cats are the real varmints in this, they kill millions of songbirds. The ‘coons are doing us a favour....Can we import some over here?

  2. This is Olympia, humans will be hunted there, before rabid animals can be hunted down there.

I would not live in Olympia if you payed me, most liberal city in this state, and yes, including Seattle.

Whenever you get a bunch of politicians in one town, the town turns into little dreamland with little to no sense of reality.

  3. Rabid raccoons and household pets...a dangerous combination in any state.

  4. He wants them to feel uncomfortable?  At least PETA is happy—maybe.

  5. "My husband and a neighbor grabbed a shovel and a bat, and they were waving them until it took off” So at least 2 of these pansies half-listen to their instincts. But the most they could do was threaten the critter? Wonder what happened to that screaming cat - lunch perhaps?

Raccoons are really easy to kill. A little .22 rimfire will work just fine, as will a broadhead on a wimpy kid’s bow. Or use a good sized rock, since you can often get within 20 feet of them; they aren’t very timid. That bat would have done just fine too, if the neighbor had the guts to actually swing it. Hey, how about owning a big dog?

Note to terrorists and other invading armies, even fwance: come in via Washington state. They won’t put up any resistance at all. Geez, a whole city full of sensitive dickless wonders.

  6. Watch it there Drew, there are a lot of us that would shoot their sorry asses in a heartbeat, problem is that we are outnumbered.

Maybe that wouldn’t be such a big deal, they would kill off the lesser beings and the strong, such as myself and some others would survive! LOL

  7. I really like the .22 concept. You know the timing. Oh, what’s on the tube? Maybe THAT’S what’s stopping the obvious rectification of the problem. F&#* the libs, f&#* the tree huggers, fix the problem.

  8. I’m a lifer in the liberal hell that is Washington State. I know the area around Olympia that the article is talking about. Its not far off from my grandmother’s place. But since it is the state’s capitol, it oozes with blue crap that comes scurrying South from the bowels of Seattle.

The commenter is a moron. If he was any type of native from Thurston County (the County that Olympia is located in that is far redder than Olympia proper), he would realize what all other natives know: The only way to rid a mamillian pest is to make it at home in a cardboard box buried in the back yard.

  10. Hmmmm, cats taste just like rabbit.  That being said most cities have leash laws that apply to both dogs and cats.  Yeah, I know that you don’t put a cat on a leash.  I also know that my dog is fenced in and our neighbor’s cats roam the neighborhood freely.  My dog might kill a stupid cat tresspassing and then I would have problems.  You keep cats; then keep them off of other people’s property.

  11. You people need to take care of your own problems (and you certainly have a lot of them) and leave us to sort out our own.

Bwaaahahaha...this old man needs to take his meds and go back to dreaming about the “glory days”.  Yeah, we rednecks don’t have pest problems.  machinegun
If these folks are having prolems with little ol’ racoons, what are they gonna’ do when the jihadis start invading their neighborhood?
