1. Very nice post, Skipper! Check out the backgrounds of the two twits that Reuters used as critics of our missle defense system in the story. It reminded me of all the limp-wristed critics of Reagan’s idea. The names of the critics have changed, but their tactics and arguments remain the same.

2. Uh, Skip, you are a cultureal racist! The Seattle Public school board describes “future time orientation” as one of the indicators of racism.

   Cultural Racism

   Those aspects of society that overtly and covertly attribute value and normality to white people and Whiteness, and devalue, stereotype, and label people of color as “other”, different, less than, or render them invisible. Examples of these norms include defining white skin tones as nude or flesh colored, having a future time orientation, (emphasis mine) emphasizing individualism as opposed to a more collective ideology, defining one form of English as standard, and identifying only Whites as great writers or composers.

6. Seattle must not be teaching their children anything but crap. . . Individualism is a cornerstone of America (rights, protections, way of life) and for all FYI - dealing with the past and moving into a present with future outlook - IS THE GOAL OF MENTAL HEALTH.

   Someone feels slighted because the ‘flesh’ crayon is a peachy color, or ‘flesh’ stockings are kinda beigey colored or because their desire to play the slave and segregated victim isn’t working anymore.

   So be it - I’m a cultural racist. . .too bad - I’m also a realist, a citizen, a tax payer, a patriot and educated.

   Personally I’m just on the edge of writing to every single ‘news’ paper in America and tell them if it wasn’t for my kitty box - a ‘news’ paper would never enter my house. And I think I will join an anti- National Education Association - for destroying our school systems.

   BTW, San Fransisco is refusing to do anything about illegals ‘cuz the Feds aren’t paying for it . . .try charging all the businesses that hire criminal illegals - there’s your money idiots.

   Why oh why are so many lunatics out running around. I vote for building an asylum in every major city and anyone who violates common sense, or plays the race card more than once, or puts a terrorist above the President or an American soldier [oh wait - that would put all dems/libs out of action] SO BE IT.
