Africa Sucks

 

1. You know what was eye opening to me - watching Black Hawk Down and seeing people - We Are The World was attempting to deliver food to - with walkie talkies, cell phones and all sorts of weapons of human destruction - yet they and their children are 1) starving to death and 2) killing the very people attempting to bring them food (yes, yes I know that this was an extraction to remove the warlord that was preventing the food delivery) - but the whole point of that waste of American lives - was ultimately to deliver food to people - who should simply learn how to raise their own food, stop living in 3rd century cults and/or behaviors (i.e. tribal warfare) and if they are keen enough to work cell phones and modern weapons - why can’t they work farms and productive means of making a living?

   Why is the relative of the US President living on 12 dollars a year? And explain to me - why it is the fault of America at all? Importation of human slaves was banned in America in 1808 - the practice of slavery in 1865 - this is 2010 - there is no excuse at all. And right now in the 21st century World - Africa is #1 in the slave problem (still?!?)

   I think it was Golda Meir that said - “There will be peace when they love their children more than they hate us” - As far as coming into the 21st century - Seems to apply to Africa too.

4. The trouble is they also tend to bring their turd world patholgies with them when they “emigrate” A few years back a torso of a child turned up in the river Thames in London. They think this was a result of Nigerians involved in witchcraft.

5. OK Im going out on a limb here but thats what I do. In africa they sacrifice children to gain wealth ( in their adled diseased minds anyway)but here in the west we now have in britain health advisory commitees to do so to aged and imfirmed folks to save money and in America we are considering this same primitive concept in our health care (?) system.
   Are we really so advamced or just more practical about who we sacrifice?

6. I read a book review this weekend about Africa and African aid.  What caught me and it might you as well, is the amount of money estimated to have been thrown down that rat hole over the years.
   A TRILLION DOLLARS .  A trillion and many are still in the dark ages.

   The author of a new book called “DEAD AID” is a Zambian economist educated at Oxford and Harvard.  She suggestes that ALL aid and disguised aid in the form of un-repayable loans should be phased out.  She also says the Live 8 concerts in 2005 was an opportunity for self congratulatory musicians to caper around on a stage calling for yet more aid and cancellation of debts, does not benefit Africans.

   She is a very articulate young woman and I admit I was surprised to read this from a black person. I know I shouldn’t be surprised as there are doubtless many out there like her, very well educated and heads not somewhere in the clouds but firmly rooted in reality.
