That is bollocks, in 44 the germans did not know where we would land and a lot of effort went into makeing them think we would land somewhere else, as for Israel they are doing just fine, there timeing is spot on.

I hate sauerkraut as much as I hate sushi! Boiled vinegar/cabbage is just as nasty as raw fish, old chum. And don’t get me started on blood pudding or haggis!
Peaceful northern France was righteously disturbed on June 6. Thousands of civilians in France, Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg died as the Allies went to the German boarder.

I’ve got Fox news going on the corner TV and they’re reporting on this standing right next to columns of armor. So is CNN. They’ve got some IDF big shot on the phone and he isn’t hiding or denying anything. So maybe the IDF is using the media to its advantage for once? “We sent warnings. We made radio broadcasts. We went on TV. We dropped leaflets. And then we waited and waited and waited. Oh, and we were working the UN thee whole time too. Anybody left behind must be considered an enemy.”? So when the civilian human shield casualties start to pile up by the thousand, Israel can not be blamed.
Of coure the Hezzies on the other side are watching this on TV. I bet they can hear the engines rumbling right now. I think its major sphincter pucker time for them. So make them sweat. Wait until the middle of the night, then launch an artillery barrage. And then ... make them wait some more! 2 or 3 days of this and they’ll be exhausted, paranoid, and scared sh**less. Many of them will run away. Meanwhile the IDF troops are being well fed, totally rested, and have every last thing squared away. And just when it starts to look like this whole thing was just a huge saber rattle ... blammo.
It’s my opinion that this whole operation was started nearly a year ago by Israel pulling out of Gaza. They knew exactly what would happen, just like we did. They knew how long to wait, and when everything was ready they seized on one or two of the almost daily incidents to choose to react to.
Oh, and Skipper? A bit of sauerkraut on top of a nice piece of raw fish tastes great! If you have good salt water fish the worst thing you can do is cook it. Yuk. Sushi rocks! Especially the little baby red octopusses with their heads sliced open and stuffed with spicy sesame paste then served whole!

There is no such thing as “disproportionate response”. You hit ‘em with every bomb, bullet and rocket you can and you hit ‘em just as hard as you can. War is not a popularity contest. It’s goal is to defeat the enemy - with all means at your disposal. Israel should just tell the EU-Weenies and other assorted hand-wringers to shove off
I agree Skipper. Its not as if any of these yellow-backed appeasers in the UN has the nerve or the stomach to stop Israel (or their allies for that matter).
What are they going to do? Try to place sanctions on Israel? Riiight...that would be a joke. Besides, to the winner goes “revisionist history” anyway.
I heard a good one today on Rush’s radio show - remember the Hezbollah guy (running around with the CNN reporter a couple of days ago [or was it yesterday] any way whinning ‘the won’t fight us face to face like men?’ garbage. Caller this morning said, you ever look at these ‘fighters’? Usually have their faces covered, talk about the pot calling the kettle black. Not to mention all their mosque, school, hospital and apartment hideouts.

The appeasers, whinners, tissue ringers, cryers, one globall nation/peoples, give peace a chance morons just don’t get it. And I guess they never will.
