1. I got most of these too.... gettin’ too old. :(
   We did have a party line as a kid, I remember it being annoying for the folks, but I think we got a private line before I was old enough to use the phone much myself.
   Remember before the test pattern, they’d do a reading of the poem “High Flight”? The version I remember featured the F-104 Starfighter.
