  1. Whenever I hear “William Jefferson” I expect that “Clinton” will be the next word…

anyhoo, this felon gives a whole new dimension to “cold hard cash”, or “frozen assets”.

He’ll look good in orange, doin’ time at Club Fed. in_jail

    book’im Dano!

  3. Isn’t this the same asshat who ordered the La. National Guard to break off of rescuing drowning victims during Katrina’s rampage to take him home to rescue his personal property?

I seem to remember him pitching a fit and threatening Guardsmen so that they’d make sure he’d get into his house without getting his feet wet...something about having a guardsman court-martialed if he answered a emergency call from someone who was dying before insuring the Congressman’s furniture was taken to high ground.

At least now we know where the money was stashed!!!.

Why can I never be in the right place at the right time? I think on my service days and what I’d do if that pig had threatened me like that (when I was supposed to be saving the lives of people who actually matter). His sudden demise due to a barrage of flying rifle butts would make him “just another unfortunate victim” of the storm.

God, how I hate people like that.

  4. That is the very same one… Maybe “Club Fed” is too good, perhaps that lockup on Colorado where they have Moose-Owee, the unabomber and Terry Nichols, would be more fitting for this jackasshole. JALDA (Just Another Liberal Democrat A$$hole)

Remember in November, vote this one and the rest of the 435 guttersnipesout of congress…

  6. da Jefferson Code:

“There are two sides to every story; there are certainly two sides to this story,” he said at a Capitol Hill news conference. “There will be an appropriate time and forum when that can be explained.”

Translation: I need some time to think up a half-baked story or to let this incident fade from people’s minds.

“Insofar as I am aware, since the founding of our Republic 219 years ago, the Justice Department has never found it necessary to do what it did Saturday night, crossing this Separation of Powers line, in order to successfully prosecute corruption by Members of Congress,” he said. “Nothing I have learned in the last 48 hours leads me to believe that there was any necessity to change the precedent established over those 219 years.”

Translation: I am an uneducated idiot.

“Separation of Powers”?  This guy obviously never took Government 101.  The FBI investigating this crook has nothing to do with separation of powers and has everything to do with a perfect example of “checks and balances.”

If the people of America are tired of an overly “strong” Executive, then perhaps they had better start electing Legisators that have their head somewhere other than their asses and their hands on the pen that writes good legisation instead of ‘em being caught in the cookie jar (or freezer in this case).
