2. I’d torch the place with the squatters in it and take the loss before I’d go through a lengthy and expansive civil suit process.

   Of course, the “job” would have to be done clandestinely, because even burning your own house down is against the law.

   Another case of making the bad-guys the victims. That’s full-blown, moronic Socialism for ya.

3. Too bad the castle doctrine is not viewed as legal over there.  I find someone in my house, even if it is my second house, I walk in with my legal firearm and tell everyone I start shooting in 5 seconds.  Not only do I get my house back, I get to keep all the stuff they left behind.  althought it’s all garbage.

   But I understand the cops not being able to do something.  They don’t know if the tenancy agreement is legit or not and with the laws protecting renters...it’s ridiculous.  And you can’t turn off the electric or remove the windows or change the locks as you end up being liable.  It is absolute BS.  The politicians want to do something, but if they do, it will be at the expense of other poor people who really do rent homes that could be taken advantage of by asshole landlords.  And since this is liberal govt we are talking about, nothing will be done.  You have a home empty, then you must be rich.  It’s your problem to deal with and how dare you have an extra home and money.
