A TOTAL LIBERAL JERK AND HIS STORY. HEART IN RIGHT PLACE, BRAIN OUT TO LUNCH

  1. My problem is when they realize they actually needed what they earned to live on, and decide to fund their grand gestures with other people’s money.  When a liberal starts talking about “doing good”, keep a tight hold on your wallet.

  2. How refreshing. U2’s Bono should take note. A liberal giving away his own money, not insisting that the government confiscate other people’s money for the cause.

This used to be known as ‘private charity’. If he wishes to exhort others to voluntarily do the same, fine. I’m all for voluntary private charity. Practice it myself, mostly in the form of tithing to my church, with minor contributions to other organizations like BSA.

Not that I believe his goal is a wise one, but again, read my second sentence above. At least he’s practicing what he’s preaching.

  3. And I hereby declare to donate 10% of my income to Exxon/Mobil to continue to drill and process hydrcarbons to choke those poor folks with co2 forever,Bwahahahahaha

  4. Africa can suck my ass.  Sending money to Africa is pointless.  The starving hordes that need it will never see a dime.  Any money sent to Africa is stolen by corrupt governments &
war lords and used to buy weapons and Mercedes sedans.  Why do you think after all the mega-billions they’ve been given over the last hundred years they are still starving in abject poverty?  It’s all Bullshit..  Save the starving muslim warlords is all it amounts to.  Sorry, but they are a huge continent, with a huge population, and endless natural resources. They are only as stupid and poor as they allow themselves to be.  I say not one more dime for anyone in Africa.  Let them Rise up and claim freedom.  They sure as fuck can’t buy it with donations. Rise up, Kill your oppressors, and start acting like free people.  Then and only then do you deserve the help that has, up ‘til now, been squandered on NOTHING.

  8. A million bucks will buy some guy with a name that has 27 letters with 1 vowel a really nice armored Mercedes so he can go out and see the happy faces of his peons without having to go through the heartbreak of a high velocity stomach piercing..
I do agree though, We need to stop shipping food and begin shipping farming implements and seed grains, however, I wonder how fast it would end up in the used tractor depots of the 2nd world nations with a good possibility of landing in the US.
Africa needs a true leader with no serious personal agenda.Unfortunately, the chances of this are about the same as me giving to ‘feed Africa’ charities.. about the same as my cats deciding to do advanced calculus problems using a pen held in their tails while tap-dancing to rap music.

    Just a bit of a rant…

  9. has pledged to donate a large portion of his lifetime earnings to save lives in Africa

o encourage others to donate at least 10 per cent of their pre-tax income to the development aid charities of their choice

As pointed out here - the money does not go to saving lives - but rather to corrupt Thugs and politicians (oh, wait I’m repeating myself). And the second quote, hmm no where have I heard that one?!?funny how no matter how much you ‘change’ you always stay the ‘same’.

Better than some liberals as he is encouraging giving of your own funds - not blanket ‘redistribution’ of ‘wealth’ (i.e. other people’s money).

Must run - it is snowing and I must get to the market - to stock up with the last little bit before we are snowed in.  LOL

Have to drive to get the youngest tomorrow - hope that it is indeed ‘afternoon rain’ not more of this ‘blizzard’.

Bmewsment - Great one! Wish my mind worked so - must have some more coffee before I go dig out the car - damn it’s going to be cold.
