A Snippet and A Follow-Up

 

1. "Yesterday I posted about how the assholes at the Olympics wanted President Bush to pull his campaign ad because he’d used the word “Olympics.”

   I just found out he basically told them to, in fact, go fuck themselves, he’s not pulling it. He mentioned nothing about the horse they rode in on, though!”

   Um, “Olympics” and the Olympic logo are trademarked. He can’t legally use it without permission.

2. Yep, when used with the little logo.  You better shut up or they’ll sue you for having even mentioned the word. 

   See how ridiculous that is?  And why it can’t be enforced?

   Jesus Christ, give me a break from the maroons in the world!
