  1. Oh, well, Slough ... whaddya want?

So is that “Slow”, like riding on the short bus slow, wearing your safety helmet, or is it

“Sluff”, like what an old scab does when it slides off a wound?

Or perhaps “Slug”, like the destructive garden pest, a gooey snot glob snail with no shell?

Or then again perhaps it’s “Slew”, not a sideways motion but a mucky muddy mire; a swampy pit full of putrescence and decomposition?

What, it’s “Slaow”, starts like “slow” but ends like “oww”, giving one the mental image of a dull pain that lasts nearly forever? That one sounds about right in this case.

Get with the program. Mini-Cheds are cheese. Proper English Cheese. A dairy group. Fat, salt, protein, and digestive enzymes. Good stuff. Keeps a kid full, keeps a kid going, helps build significant bowel movements.

Maybe the real name of this place is “Sod”, as in “Sod Off Ya Daft Buggers”!

  2. MM I know that place, but the school aint there cos I think the kid is white and no one in sluff is, this is great give the kid them every day they let him back then home school him! I am my sons main educator, he attends school but he learns from me! If I could afford it I would fully home school him he gets in to trouble all the time questioning (and winning) on questions of climate and whats right!

  3. As a dinosaur I remember when school was for learning essential things like the classical 3 R’s - Reading, Reckoning and Rhetoric, and the teachers had time to teach because they weren’t spending time investigating lunch box contents, completing checklists of the current politically correct issues, or being complicit in deferring adulthood while explaining adult sexual topics to primary grade students.
