What the heck, here’s two of those pics from Cairo anyway. Both from National Geographic.

Golly, Hawass is not at all tall, is he?

that post had it’s own redhead too. NSFW. Well, more chestnut than flame or auburn. Another model from Brazil. Very striking. And perfect all over. Google is your friend.

  1. Or sure. Google is my friend. But ONLY when I really know what the hell I’m doing or EXACTLY what I’m looking for. LOL
Damn fine job Drew. You Dawg you.  What do I know about Opera?  She is a Goddess! Come to that, all of em are and I’m too old for all this Xcitment!

Did you know who she was before the post? How did you run across her? And the others?  I use Google but wait. Maybe if I’d typed in gor-jus redhaired opera singer?

Wonder what you have hidden away among the files in your puter.
I still haven’t managed to cotton on to that enlargement process. Keep getting sidetracked.Bad excuse for dumb huh?

  2. Damnation, hoist on one of Allan’s petards!

Along with a huge explanation of how to do those enlargements and the method I use to find pictures of pretty girls online, I also linked back to a wonderful and huge picture of Ms. Ambrose, from the HBO page on Six Feet Under, a series she acted on. I even had a great self-debate in there on whether Allure’s fair skinned version of her or the darker haired, ruddier skinned HBO version was the real Ambrose. But the blog’s black list tool didn’t like the link and the comment pop-up does not have a back arrow on my browser, so when it got spit out I lost the whole thing.

  3. and I just this minute learned that you CAN get back to the previous screen when the blacklist thingy bites you.

Firefox has a keyboard shortcut Alt-left arrow that does the trick.

Now, if anyone knows the proper setting in about:config to allow the popup window - which might be categorized as a Requested New Window? - to show the navigation controls, please tell me. Thanks.

  4. And from actually reading the documentation - who says men never read the instructions?- I learned that the navigation bar can be turned on on popup windows from within the blog template by varying the parameters of the Java window.open command. So I did, and it worked, and now the comments here have a Back arrow. Just in case the blacklist messes you up; now nobody will loose the comment essay that they’ve written.

I MIGHT be able to build a back button into ONLY the blacklist screen. That’s the only time it’s really needed, though it doesn’t hurt much (a slightly slower load time) having it on in the regular comment popup.

  5. Firefox users can go into about:config and set

    dom.disable_window_open_feature.toolbar

to TRUE, which will override any window.open setting a blog engine might use. That way you ALWAYS get the toolbar, even if the blog is set to not give it to you.

I’ve done this for my browser, so I think I’ll go and turn the toolbar feature off again from within the blog and test it.  [time passes] YUP, it works just fine.

  6. Moo. Some dumb comment used to check the backspace feature’s usability on popup windows.

  7. So, the first people to get over here looked like Celtic goddesses? WOW! I wanna time travel!  Also, the first link just above is broken…
