A plug for a great resource

 

1. I am a fan too - I am doing the CIA Baking Desserts and Pastries right now - slowly - everyone has been sick - so not into the sweets. I would like to get more - but money is tight - this was a b-day gift on sale. But enjoy the visual learning aspect.

   My son and his wife bought me two of Julia Child’s old PBS series dvds - I have realized that cooking shows in black and white look disgusting. The one I’d like to get is some Justin Wilson (also PBS) - while I can not deal with the heat (private joke - heiss nichts scharf - the joy of learning a new language, on the job) of Louisiana cooking - his commentary is priceless.
