When I think about my son and the advances made with his treatment and survival - you have to realize - in burns they are now at the ‘quality of life’ stage. Survival is dependent on really one thing - is a major organ involved. And thus the wonderful things they learned - will hopefully (and I’ve checked the stories out there, many of the burn units are picking it up and running with it) will do wonders for making burn surviving less awful. Heck even the 3/4ths the time and about 1/3rd of the surgeries would make any burn patient much happier.
And government care and the faux science that includes global warming and Pharma pushed ‘a Chocks for everything’ culture won’t do a damn thing to make advances such as that. And sad thing is most of the real science and good works have little to do with making big bucks - but rather with people who really want to help people.
You know, the kind of people the liberals continue to claim that they are.
And never will be.
