  1. Funny how the crew that wants war crimes trials for “abuses in War on Terror” NEVER mention putting all those people on trial who cut off the heads of newsmen, teachers, civilians and women....

  2. Yeah, Tim, good point.  Or the Hell that those at Cantor Fitz went through on September 11th, 2001.  No mention is ever made of the torture they went through in the last two hours of their lives . . .

  3. HuffPo has a lead article about shutting down Gitmo.  I nearly heaved after reading the first few lines of the article, which are a statement by John Murtha.  Here they are.  Allow one hour after eating before reading the following.

Rep. John Murtha:  President Obama took the first key step in restoring America’s image and credibility in the world by issuing an Executive Order to close the U.S. military prison at Guantanamo Bay and to prohibit the use of torture by U.S. personnel. I applaud his judgment and I wholeheartedly support this decision.

Image and credibility my bleeding a**!  What do you do with the most dangerous scum on the planet if you don’t lock them up?  Shoot them?  Shooting them has some practical aspects, but to get full value, you’ve got to interrogate them first.  If the world didn’t like Gitmo, what will they say about firing squads?  These guys want us to drop our pants and bend over.  Can anyone here actually believe that’s a good idea?  Amnesty International has been an impotent bunch of bed wetters since they began.  Why are we listening to them?

  4. Silly me, I should have thought that the bad guys will just give up and go home after we politely escort them off the battlefield.  Yeah, I’ll get you a deal on a bridge in Brooklyn.  Given the ethical choice between ripping a bad guy’s eyes out with a soldering iron or allowing thousands to die horrible deaths, guess which one I’d choose?  Gee, maybe waterboarding really is humane.

  5. Guys, in my posting of this article I really didn’t say half of what was running thru what passes for my mind these days.  I was afraid if I did, I might have to kick myself off the blog for a year.

Those folks (and the aclu) just get up my snout to a degree where I become less rational.
I’d really do em harm if I knew how. amnasty has NEVER been an unbiased group and they have from the beginning been anti-USA.

With regard to the quote Jeff put here, yeah. Saw something along the same line in morning paper which of course got the blood boiling and left me with the same questions you have.

Good grief, and we have another 4 (maybe more?) years to go.  Obama has said that we must not compromise our ideals for security?  Right.  How about he give up his bodyguards.
It simply amazes me, and it shouldn’t, that he can see things the way he does.
BUT HEY GUYS COME ON ...........
    Please Be Grateful.

    EUROPE LOVES US NOW!

    Effin Putzes!
