A Garden Variety Victory

 

1. I really wasn’t able to shoot her because I was laughing too hard - she was in such a panic that she was caught with her paws in the corn patch, that she ran in a blind rush and did herself in.

   I can’t believe that the big thing I will sit on the InterNet for a while about is my own petty annoyance with a couple of groundhogs.

   And now the corn is dying because of the rain we’re getting - We don’t think the 5 ears left will grow to maturity.

   So it goes - but at least there are two less rodents in the World.

2. Hope that’s not a protected species Wardmom. lol.

   Softy me. Feel a bit sorry for the critter but then it isn’t in our back yard.

   I do wish it looked more like a liberal tho. Anyway, eating your garden is what those things do for a living. You may be in violation of animal rights act. Oh wait, you aren’t in England.

   Wait till you see my first post for this day, which now is Thurs.  Subject, bats and things.

3. Thought I should point out that the last paragraph may contain a reference to the redacted paragraph… Might want to look at that again…

   Of course WE all know that they were humanely trapped and taken waaaaay out in groundhog-heaven before being released, unharmed - wouldn’t want the moonbats getting the wrong idea!

4. DD - After it’s Safe Release™ the rodent ran away and jumped in a lake. Realizing the po’ lil’ critta was in trouble, Wardmama rushed inside to get her government approved Large Rodent Rescue Kit™, but by the time she was done filling out the EPA mandated Environmental Impact Statement ... it was too late.
