It appears to me that the Red Cross has no values. The volunteer obviously does.
So, what your posting, on this blog, run by me, Andrew Pearce, is that Andrew Pierce is reporting that Andy Peers gave this old timer the boot. Good thing he wasn’t so upset that he claimed he was pierced through the heart. Now THAT would’ve been trite.
Well I guess that makes the Geneology portion of our show tonight easy to explain.
Yes it does, but it’s actually mighty complex. Several sides of the family came here from England. Some came early, around 1635, some came late, around 1875. And the ones back in England never could spell; Pirse, Piers, Pers, etc. And don’t get me started on those Percys, Pearsons, and those probably unrelated highland MacPhersons. AFAIK, the distant Polish Pyrzyce branch stayed in Pomerania. In whatever variant, it’s a common surname across most of Protestant Europe.
And I already knew about the guy who writes for the newspaper.
